You can try pulling the AC plug overnight in case it is something caused by the lockup of an IC but it is more likely to be a failed power supply.
BTW, if you need help, include make and model of anything you have that is sick. There may be techs familiar with your model and its illnesses but you won't hear from them if they don't know the details.
