SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a fisher 823 disk player, it plays perfectly but only a few cds. Most are rejected with a E.?

I think the E will just me Error! Since it plays some CD fine. It could be that either dust or dirt is randomly blocking the lens. Also check the CD's have no finger marks on them. Wipe them with a glasses cloth before putting them in.
If the player is in a dusty environment (say a bedroom) you might want to pull the plug and take the top cover off and clean the inside very carefully. You can use a hand held Hoover if you want, but very carefully. You do not want to spread any dust to the lens unit. Though after you are done you could clean the lens with a cleaner disc, which you can get from your local electrical store.

How do I set up my Element MP3 player to download music from cds in my computer? It is listed as Model GC810/811/812/820/821/822/823

Hi,

You need to convert the songs on the CD into MP3s on your computer first using Windows Media Player or another program like this. 'Rip' the songs from the CD as MP3s.

For a full breakdown on what is involved please see my FixYa Tip.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Fisher tad m70 10 disc cd player compact disc searches and won't play a disc, no disc found

I have that same model bought new in 1993. Once I had the same problem - I used one of those CD cleaning disc left it unplugged for a few hours and then it worked. But if the laser needs alignment - then it needs to be re-aligned/serviced by a tech.
