Question about Computers & Internet

I have a problem with my MX320 printer. It was copying fine from my MacBook Pro (2010 machine) before I went on vacation this summer. Now it won't print at all. There is no image on the paper which runs through the copier.

Most likely this is a print head issue. The print head is what the cartridges sit in inside of the printer. To resolve it, do the following:

1 Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over. If for some reason it does not follow these instructions:
Unplug the printer
Manually slide the carriage over until you can get the ink cartridges out.
2 Remove the ink cartridges from the print head.
3 Use cotton swabs dipped in hot water or a mix of hot water and isopropyl alcohol to thoroughly clean the print head.
4 Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab.
5 Once finished, allow to dry and replace the cartridges
6 Try to print now

But after doing that and still same problem better have the printer service since this is a print head related issue to avoid further damage on the unit.

Do a thorough cleaning of the printing heads, they are clogged with dried ink. If necessary take out the printing head and soak it in warm water.

Lower the front door = the carriage will move to the service position and you will be able to remove thr cartridges. After that look on the carriage for a big lever - lift it up and the part where the cartridges go in will be released, it's the printing head. Unplug the printer and take it out, soak it in warm water  overnight then, alternating with washing the printing head under the hot water tap, using some paper towels, wipe the underside until the towel remains clean. When the head has been cleaned just put it back, lower the lever to secure it, put the cartridges back and start the printer.

MacBook Pro 17'' Mid 2010 HEAT

Hi,
if it doesn't get very hot, then everything's fine. Yes, you may try unplugging and see if it works.

Of course, it's better to call the Apple Support. Ask them about the problem and see if it is normal/not.

MacBook Pro took a drop, boots up but nothing on the screen.

The screen, the cable that connects to the screen or something internal has taken a hit. You'll need to get it serviced to find out which. Sorry, but there's not much diagnosis we can do from a distance.

2010 13" Macbook pro will do is screen saying "Enter your system lock PIN code to unlock this Mac

The Mac is locked and has it say you need a code to open, so if you know the person who gift you the Mac ask for the code if no the only remedy is to re-load the system but you will need the the copy of the O.S.

I recently bought a Canon PIXMA MX320 all in one printer with my macbook. It works fine, but I can't figure out how to scan an image onto my laptop.

You need to control the scanner through your PC with canon software that came with your scanner otherwise you cant scan anything..first open the printer/scanner software ,select scanner, then place your document and command "scan" from the software.
Good luck, do rate the solution if helped

Macbook pro start up problem

First remove the battery, then plug it into your AC adapter. Hold the power button for 5 seconds or until you either hear and beep or the activity light on the front of your laptop lights up. Start up normally.
