To get results in radians you must configure the angle unit to be degree.

  1. In Run screen press [SHIFT][MENU] to access (SETUP).
  2. Use Down arrow to highlight the line Angle :
  3. Press F2 key to select the TAB Radian.
  4. Once you do that all values (input of trigonometric functions and polar graph functions OR output of inverse trigonometric functions) are in radians.
If your function is periodic (and all trigonometric functions are) set the window dimensions Xmin = negative (2 or 3)P and Xmax) = (2 or 3) PI. Adjust if necessary to a smaller domain.

If the functions you are drawing are cosines and sines, restrict the range to Ymin =negative (1.1) and Ymax= 1.1. If there are factors multiplying a sine or cosine then you will have to multiply the values above by the largest absolute value of the factors.

Sorry but this "To get results in radians you must configure the angle unit to be degree." is nonsense. It should read "To get results in radians you must configure the angle unit to be radian".

How do I graph sinx on my Casio fx-9750GII calculator?

Turn calculator ON
If you see no icons, press Menu
Press 3 (Graph) draw your function. (more on that later).
If the first line of the display show Graph Func : Y= you should be able to draw your function.
If it says anything else, press F3 TYPE to select the graph type and select functional by pressing F1 key Y=.
After the graph type is set to Y=, type the second member of your function y= f(x) on the first line. Make sure the = sign after Y1= remains highlighted after you move cursor. Otherwise select the function by pressing F1:SEL. Press F6 Draw.
Be careful with trigonometric functions. If angle unit is radian, set window Zoom to standard. If angle unit is degree, you must open the Window utility and set Xmin=-190, Xmax = 190 to see at least a period.

My casio fx 9750gii wont let me solve sin graphs

If your angle unit is set to degrees and your window dimensions are the standard ones (-10, 10) for Xmin, Xmax , then you will not see much of the graph. In that case you should set Xmin=-180, Ymax=+180 and Ymin=-1.2 and Ymax=1.2

If the angle unit is set to radians, then the standard window dimensions will show the characteristic graph.
Thus, change the angle unit or change the windows dimensions.
