HI follow the thermocouple lead back to the gas valve undo the silver nut foloow the lead back to the pilot and undone the nut on thermocouple or it may just pull out , or the burner might have to come out to replace it , if you arenot sure on this then a local gas fitter will do this .

sure,but why would you want to?you can follow the wireing diagram and switch leads to motor. there may be one thats un used because you don't need it.leave brown alone.colors are usually black,red ornge or blue.white is common,leave it alone.
