How to install a throttle cable on an ECHO PB-251 blower

throttle cable ??? should actually have a throttle rod that goes to a very short piece of cable. and this cable only goes from the carb to the throttle rod. the cable is actually easy to replace. it's only 3 inches long. the throttle rod or trigger requires removal of one side of the handle.

How do I remove the throttle body on a 2006 scion xb?

They can all be removed, some are easier then others. Look at it carefully and remove whatever is in the way. Make your self a diagram of everything you take off so its easy to put it all back in the right place. Easier still is to make a video of the dis-assembly and use it to make sure it all goes back in properly. Pay attention to bolt lengths!

Most nailers have a two position setting on the trigger to allow for single fire or bump fire. If set on bump fire, the gun will work better when you bump fire the gun instead of placing the gun on the work then depress trigger. Bump fire works best when safety spring has good tension. Easy test. Make sure that the safety spring is in place (with air hose removed, contact foot should spring back quickly when pushed against work). With air connected, hold trigger and quickly bounce the gun against the work. If the gun does not fire when you bump, the trigger is most likely set to single fire. With trigger set to single fire, you must place the gun against the work, then depress trigger. If the gun shoots two nails while set to single fire, most likely worn trigger or worn out trigger valve. These parts are not expensive and are easy to replace. Good luck

My husqvarna 455 rancher needs a carburetor kit how do you remove the carb

This is not so easy to explain, this is an X Torque engine so the carb does not come off so easy, there are air tubes on the back of the carb, however, remove the air filter, remove the earth cut out wire and earth return wire from the red switch, they are just push on, there is a blue clip on the throttle shaft side of the carb, gently pull out and twist ( this holds the throttle push rod into the carb ), open the throttle trigger with your finger at the same time now remove the throttle push rod from the throttle shaft, once out of the carb pull the rod toward the front of the saw and out of the tank, now unscrew the four allen headed screws from the air filter housing, and remove, ease the carb up and away far enough to remove the fuel hose, now remove completely.

I replaced fuel line from carb to intake and now it wont start?

Check the carb fuel stub to see if its seated in the hose. Chech to see if you re-installed the piston underside scavenge hose to the bottom stub of the carb. Check your compression. New is 160 psi, operational but problematic (hard start) 130~140 and completely toast at 90. This saw is easy to flood when compression has fallen off. Cold start, 3 pulls choke on with the throttle trigger locked wide open. At first sputter, put choke in normal run and it should fire by the 3rd pull. If not its flooded. Then remove the plug and with an air hose vacate the cylinder of fuel for a few minutes and try again without the choke or throttle lock set at wide open.

Good luck.

Remove the air cleaner and watch the throttle arm on the carburetor while operating the throttle trigger--suspect that the trigger assembly has acquired sawdust and dirt sufficient to limit proper travel of the trigger mechanism. Careful notes as you dis-assemble the trigger will help get it back together properly. There is little except proper maintenance to prevent debris accumulation in the trigger mechanism. Note: air leakage behind the carburetor can also cause high idle speeds--make sure the carburetor is fastened securely and that there are no flaws in the gaskets and heat insulator located behind the carburetor. Hope this helps!

Did you remove the rear case first? That allows direct access to the fuel tank and line. I have found the throttle trigger connection to be the worst offender when the front case is removed to access the carburetor and ignition system. Hope this helps!

No pressure

It is probably air locked....Here's what you need to do. Connect the garden hose, and HP hose, but not the gun. Turn on the water, and let it run while you make sure that there are no high points in the garden hose that can trap air....Work the hose so that any air is displaced through the pressure washer. Continue in this manner through the HP hose. Shut off the water and connect the gun. Turn the hose back on, and operate the gun for several minutes, pulling the trigger and releasing. This alternately allows the water pressure to build up on house pressure and then to depressure, pulling residual air from the system. Release the trigger, and start the machine. Usually, this is enough to get full washing pressure. If it is very difficult to start, you can hold the trigger down on the gun and pull the start cord at the same time. Holding the trigger down acts as an unloader, making the starting easier.
Hope that this helps, --W/D-- please feel free to rate this solution! Thanx!
