I have a notebook aspire 6930, i've had it just barely over a year, and a couple days ago my internet just wouldn't connect. When i push the touch button to turn the wireless LAN on it does not light up...

1) Make sure Wireless Lan is Enabled by pressing the light button of it
2) Click with right button on the Battery Icon (on the botton bar aside clock)
3) Select Windows Mobility Center (a window will open up)
4) Click on "Turn wireless on" button.

No wireless capability

If your model does not have wireless capability, even if you had a switch on the machine, if there is no internal wireless card you can't make this wireless. My suggestion would be to purchase a PCMCIA or USB wireless card that you can load to your system to make this wireless capable.
