Question about Sony Audio Players & Recorders
This is a fairly common problem with discs changers. The laser has failed or is too dirty to read the discs. You can try a laser cleaner such as:
But otherwise you will just need to replace the unit.
On rare occasions blowing canned air inside the unit towards where the discs are when they spin could free it up, but it is far better to use an actual laser cleaner. They almost always take care of the issue.
