Hi I think I would be able to tell you exactly how to do this if I knew more information about your computer. Is it a laptop? desktop? Whats the model and what operating system (xp,vista,7)? WARNING this would delete all of your information on the hard drive.

Hi!

Before restoring your machine to factory default please make sure that you mback up all your program and files to any external device.

Please follow the step by step procedure to restore your machine to factory default.

1. Make sure all programs are closed and shut down your Acer laptop by opening your Start menu and selecting "Shut Down" from the options for shutting down and restarting windows.
2. Detach any external hardware such as an external hard drive or printer.
3. Press the Power button to boot your Acer laptop.
4. Press "Alt + F10" on your keyboard when the Acer screen appears at the start of the boot up process. Wait a moment while Windows loads the reset files.
5. Select "Restore System from factory default" in the Acer eRecovery Management window.
6.Click "Next" on the next screen to continue. Click "Next" on the following destination information window. This will pop up a notice telling you that resetting your Acer laptop will erase all data and restore the laptop to its original settings and configuration.
7. Click "OK" in the notice window to proceed with resetting your Acer laptop.

I DONT KNOW HOW TO RESTORE MY ACER BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS

The Acer Aspire One is a netbook, not a laptop. A netbook is a smaller, scaled-down version of a laptop. It does not have the memory capacity or graphics of a regular laptop. It also lacks a CD drive, which means you cannot restore the Acer Aspire One with restore discs. Instead, the netbook has a built-in factory restore feature. You can reset the Acer Aspire One to factory settings just using your keyboard. Only restore your netbook to factory settings if you cannot fix the problem any other way.

Save any files or folders on your Acer Aspire One with flash drives. Drag and drop files onto the icon of your flash drive. Go to "Start" > "Restart" to reboot your netbook. Hold down "Alt" and "F10" when you see the Acer logo on the screen. The recovery menu will load. Hit "Enter" and then "Next" to see your recovery options. Choose "Factory Restore" to set your netbook back to factory settings. Follow the instructions on the screen. Choose your time zone and language when the customization menu appears. Reboot the netbook when you are prompted. Restore your saved files from the flash drive.

Hello how do i restore my acer aspire 5332 laptop to factory settings

Unlike other laptops, Acer laptops integrate a computer management utility called 'Acer eRecovery Management' to create backup of hard drive data, create restore point, reinstall applications & drivers, and reset Acer laptop to factory setting.

Step 1: Before starting your Acer laptop, ensure that there is no external storage device attached to it. Now start your laptop.

Step 2: Press 'Alt + F10' when the laptop starts booting, and wait for a moment while Windows loads the reset files.

Step 3: When 'Acer eRecovery Management' window appears, select 'Restore System from factory default' and click 'Next' to continue.

Step 4: Again click 'Next' to reset your Acer laptop. This process will erase all data from your hard disk and reset your Acer laptop to original factory settings.

Step 5: Click 'OK' in the notification window to begin the the resetting operation. Now wait while your Acer laptop is reset to factory settings.

Tips: You can also create a backup copy of your laptop data before factory reset. Simply click 'Backup' in 'Acer eRecovery Management' window.
