I just got the side by side Frigidaire professional and every few hours there is a loud noise that comes out of it that last like 3 seconds

Thanks for your post, friend!

I see that your Frigidaire side by side refrigerator is making a loud noise every few hours. There are a lot of normal operating noises within a refrigerator. It is possible that your evaporator may create a boiling or gurgling noise. Or you could be hearing ice being released into your ice bin. If you have your manual they should list some normal operating noises within your refrigerator. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

The ice maker is still working but has constant noise.

Thanks for your post, friend!

I see that you are experiencing some challenges with your Frigidaire refrigerator making a constant noise. Typically, you can have noises coming from your icemaker and they would be a normal operating sound. If it is a snap or click it could be the water valve calling for water. Additionally, the icemaker dropping ice into the bin can provide a loud noise as well. If you have your manual it lists normal operating noises. If you feel the noise is not normal I would recommend reaching out to a professional for proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

What causes a cold engine to make a ticking noise 2006 harley davidson street bob

Depends on what you are calling a ticking noise. It could be a little bit of hydraulic lifter noise which, if it is light and/or it goes away when the bike reaches operating temperature is okay/normal OR it could also be rocker clatter which may not go away completely at operating temperature but which is okay if it is a light ticking and/or it also goes away at operating tempersture.

Makes a really loud buzzing noise during operation

Unit uses a Magnetron and likely a power board called an inverter to run it. Someone would have to open the unit in a way where they might pinpoint where the sound is coming from and then take action--does not of course sound normal or good to me.

Noise in operation. A loud rumbling noise when

Any noise must be identified with a good observation of the point of noise source.
This can be done with a good view with all safety precaution while the unit moves. Use good lighting and make sure that you are not putting your hands into any moving parts while the set works.
Now disconnect after observation and manually turn the drum, the motor and the rotor to fix the point of noise. this can be a faulty bearing assembly or a faulty suspension all of which will require a resetting/reassembly.

HEATER MAKING LOUD NOISES

Check the draft inducer motor for any partial blockages or dibri.

I've seen sticks, birds nest particles and pieces of deteriorating fan blades (squirrel cage type fans) cause this.

You might also find that the inducer motors bearing are going.

If its a loud vibrating grinding type noise, I'd suspect bearings or missing pieces of the blades. (unbalanced)
If it's a clanking type noise I'd suspect loose items hitting the fan.

The inducer motor will only operate right before and during burner operation, while the blower motor can operate at any time depending on your setting.

Keeps on beeping? Every 3 to 4 seconds? Try putting the thermostat wires together. An open bin thermostat will cause this problem and the board see it and starts beeping.

Computer making noise

Monitor clicks, pops, or makes other noises. Issue: Monitor clicks, pops, or makes other noises.
Cause: This issue could be caused by any of the below possibilities:
  1. Monitor degaussing.
  2. Monitor changing resolution.
  3. Monitor syncing with the video card.
  4. Monitor warming up.
Solution: Noise when turned on or off It is normal for standard computer CRT monitors to make a click, pop, crackle, hum, buzz, or other type of noises when they are first turned on or turned off.
Noise when monitor goes into standby mode When the monitor enters a "standby mode" or "power savings mode" this is similar to the monitor being turned off. It is completely normal for the monitor to make a noise when the monitor enters this mode.
Noise when opening Microsoft Windows or other operating system or when opening a game When a computer opens its operating system, for example, a computer opening Microsoft Windows or when a user runs a computer game it is very common that the monitor will need to switch its resolution of the operating system or game. When switching resolutions it is normal for the computer monitor to make some type of noise and/or for the computer monitor to flick or flash.
Noise during normal operation If the computer monitor click, pops, or flashes while it is being used this is not normal operation. It is very likely that the monitor may be failing or a component within the monitor has already failed and could also potentially be a fire hazard. We highly recommend that the monitor be repaired, replaced, and/or looked at by a qualified technician.
