The coffee wont brew

Hello,
If your brewer sounds like it should be brewing but little or no coffee comes out, the problem may be a simple malfunctioning check valve, located on the right hand side of the unit under the plastic cover. If the check valve is clogged or fails, water from the tank leaks into the air pump (located just below the valve) disabling the pump.
This happened to my brewer two days ago. I have had this unit for about four years and never had a problem. When I called tech support at Keurig they said "it sounds like the pump is shot", but there was nothing they could do and they would not repair it. Instead of the throwing out my $300 coffee maker I figured I would try to fix it myself.
After 3 hours of tinkering, I found and fixed the problem, so I am passing on the tip. Since 2.5 of those hours were spent diagnosing the problem, the fix itself is pretty simple.
The pump that pushes the water out of the tank located on the right hand side of the unit (I included a photo) has a check valve just above it. On my unit the check valve failed allowing water to enter the top chamber of the pump disabling it. The pump was not damaged it just cannot operate correctly with water in it.
Here is the Fix: Disconnect the check valve and make sure it is operating correctly. Mine was clogged with a small amount of mineral deposits, which was cured by a half hour in a glass of vinegar, and a good rinse. Then disconnect the tubing from the top of the pump and run the unit to allowing the water to escape the pump. Make sure there is no water left in any of the tubing between the pump and the check valve, even the smallest amount will disable the pump again. Reconnect everything and it should work.
I hope the above helps.
Regards.

Charging chart missing. Goodman 4-ton AC (model CK 49-18) What are the high and low suction pressures at 90 degrees F?

Hello, if this is a R-22 unit your low side should between 70-75 psig and high side should be between 225-230psig. But keep in mind always measure the superheat if it is a fixed orifice and subcooling if it is a txv unit

The high pressure unit is disabled in my Robinair Cooltech 34700z wat could be the problem?

This is a common problrm of Robinair 34700Z / 347002k & 347112k series machine.so don't worry just do the following :- 1# Verify the ISV tank is not overfilled.if full, remove refrigerant manually from tank. 2# Verify if there is high pressure in the tank.Purge excess air from the tank manually.( Open air purge hose from the tank, then press tank valve as needed) 3#Check the high pressure switch for proper operation,if not then replace high pressure switch.Hope this will solve your problem, if so please vot for it

New unit got leak and it is repaired.by mistake charge vapor in the high side port for a few minutes and the reading on high side is only 120psi. what should i do to fix

Running only 120psi on the high side is actually pretty low. Most systems operate at 200+psi. Charging the unit on the high side while it is running will actually push the refrigerant back into the bottle and is dangerous and shouldn't be done. Charging the high side with the unit off will not hurt the system, it is just preferred to be charge with liquid, but none the less, it will just push the refrigerant away from the compressor. The only thing that you really have to watch for is charging liquid into the low side since it can ruin the compressor internally. I would say you need to finish charging the system on the low side with vapor and be sure that you have the right amount of superheat. Hope this points you in the right direction!

Traulsen ur 48 dt freezer want go below 10 deg

The first place to look is to check the charge. Using guages check the low and high side pressures and their relationship to one another. I'm assuming your unit is a R-404 unit which, if fully charged and the condenser is clean, and the fan is operating, should have about 210 to 250 high side pressure. Other things to check: evaporator coil ice/frost free; defrosting properly to obtain a clean coil; all evaporator fans running. If low side pressure is above 30 PSI you have a weak compressor. Whatever, fix the Traulsen unit, its head and shoulders above anything else on the market today.
