My aprilair's humidifier motor began to make loud squealing noise

Put some lubricant, oil, WD40, etc. on shaft of fan. Spin the fan with your finger and work the oil into the shaft until the fan spins freely again. Reassemble and problem will be gone for 2-3 weeks. Repeat again until you want to replace the fan motor.

Squeak in aloha breeze tower fan model 05538

If the model is equipped with a fan, and the noise occurs even when not oscillating it must be a fan/blower motor. If it is a squeak. A squeal could be an electical component going bad which is always bad. I would definitely take some bottom drawer tools , ie. screwdrivers and WD-40 and oil that squeaking motor. Being a fan it goes through alot of air pollutants. That tends to build up on the shaft and can work its way into the bearing seal. Good luck.

Blower squeak! Bearings or Bushings? Can it be greased?

Most elec. fan motors can not be oiled , try holding the blower assembly with the fan running to see if that stops the noise , if it does not you need to replace the evap. fan motor and if the blower wheel is dirty clean it , if there is alot of rust on it replace it as well. Good luck.

Loud squeak when engine is on.

Is it a squeak or a howell thats the real question here because it could be the oil trap which is about $140 and is attached to the bottom of the filter housing not to hard to do if you have worked on this type of car befor. And has the car died yet.
