Why is water leaking from unit

The drain is plugged up. This causes water to overflow out of the drain pan and on to the floor. Water comes from the evaporator coil, when it condenses water vapor out of the air to remove humidity. If the drain is not plugged up, then the air conditioner is not level. Meaning it is tilted forward or backwards enough so that the water cannot reach the drain properly and it overflows onto the floor.

Water continues to flow into bowl and overflows on to the floor

If it overflows while not in use it will be the water valve. If it overflows while in use it could be the water valve or pressure switch or pressure hose kinked or cloged or pressure chamber cloged need model number for more info

Water puddles leaking our of overflow pipe onto floor

sounds like your pressure relief is leaking. Make sure your home water pressure isn't abnormally high (above 80 psi). As long as your water pressure is fine, you should replace the pressure relief.

mine also remains wet and soggy, even after the spin cycle. However, I have not, as of yet, (and hopefully won't) begin having overflow problems.

Mine is jumping around the laundry room - as though in an unbalanced cycle. We discovered that one of the "feet" that the washer stands on needs to be adjusted, upward or down, so that the washer stands balanced and evenly. The "foot" does not make contact, and when we turn it to change its height, it just goes in circles without changing height.

If the water stops when the heater is not running then the humidifier is working fine. I know it seems like alot of water but that's how it's designed.

GE dishwaher leaks with standing water in bottom

Check to make sure regular dish soap did not end up getting inside the dishwasher. This will create a lot of suds that will overflow onto the kitchen floor. Standing water from not draining can mean the drain hose is clogged somewhere or the check valve has something caught in it. If you remove the front kick plate, you will be able to check those.

Washer runs over

I would advise you to check the outlet hose for an obstruction at the end it discharges the water, there could be a partial blockage, which can result in the water filling up the outlet stand pipe and overflowing.
It would not neccessarily do it every time., and make sure the outlet stand pipe is the right size as the hose has not to be stuck in tight.
Plz rate this solution.
thanks.
