No. It will not. The firmware should still stay intact.

Good day..can i downgrade my psp 3001 version 6.30?

Hi there, unfortunately it is not possible to hack or downgrade a PSP 3000 if it has firmware above 5.50 on it. There are currently no custom firmware files out there that will work if you have your PSP 3000 upgraded. Do not be fooled by false links to custom firmware above 5.50, they do not exist and will probably be a virus that you will end up downloading. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but until they write new custom firmware I am afraid you are stuck with your standard PSP. You could always sell it on ebay and buy a PSP 2000, you are able to use Pandora batteries on those which is much easier than the PSP 3000's. Google pandora battery and magic memory stick to find out more information.

Hope this heps

How do i downgrade psp 3000 running ofw 6.31....help me please

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do at present to downgrade a PSP 3000 that has firmware above 5.03. Pandora battery does not work and neither does chickhen, until someone works out a way of enabling custom firmware on a PSP 3000 above 5.03 I am afraid you are stuck to official firmware.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa

How can i downgrade my psp version 6.30 ofw to 5.50 gen-d3.without using any pandora battery

I am afraid this is not possible, if it is a PSP 1000 or 2000 you would need a pandora battery. However if it is a PSP 3000 upwards there is no way to downgrade the firmware at all. Anything above firmware 5.03 is not possible to downgrade on a PSP 3000.

Hope this helps

I upgrade my psp 5.33 to 6.31..i want to downgrade the version_

As far as we know right now, there is no way to downgrade a PSP 3000.

The older PSP 1000 and PSP 2000 systems could accept a special battery called a Pandora's battery and a special memory card with the PSP firmware. This battery would force the PSP to turn on and boot from the memory card. The special software on the memory card would load new system software of your choice (that exists on the memory card) onto your PSP. This includes older firmware or custom firmware.

As far as I know, there is no pandora's battery for the PSP-3000.

try googling psp hacks.com go there they may help you as they update their site with new software that is coming out for the newer psps, not psp gos though

Its the same problem

You cannot downgrade a PSP 3000....Yet. The 5.51 update patches more hacks for the 3000. Your best chance is to wait on 5.51 firmware and see if they hack it.

The only way to get custom firmware on a PSP 3000 is by using ChickHEN. But you cannot because you are on 5.51. Just wait and see what they can do.

How can i downgrade a psp 3000, 5.51 to 4.01? I need to modify it so i can play games in my psp! help!!!

pandora and magik stick cannot be used with psp 3k models.. you have to wait until a working exploit is found.. and dont EVER upgrade your psp if you want to do something with it.. google is you friend. take a look at mohh exploit.. still in the verry beginning.. but very promising.

Psp ver.3.95...how to downgrade it

You need to chip your PSP with Pandora's Battery and a 'Magic Memory Stick'
If you have a Fat or Slim PSP it works. If at the bottom of your PSP it says -3000 at the end, sorry but your PSP is unchippable.
After you downgrade your PSP to 'Custom Firmware' you can place ISO and CSO roms onto it.

WARNING: DOWNGRADE AND CHIP YOUR PSP AT YOUR OWN RISK. IT IS NO ADVISED BY SONY!
