The Xerox 3645 Printer where i work keeps printing out lots of pages of just rubbish, stuff that people arent printing off, and its coming off with a banner for the remote user...help

That very much sounds like a driver problem.
One thing you may try first is when you get to the download page for the drivers.Select ALL on the driver page. Normally you get one selection to show up when you just click on the driver page. When you click ALL then Go and you will see more options.
There is not a Vista driver for that product if that is your operating system.
Maybe just delete the printer and re install. Something is wrong with your driver, corrupted or just not functioning correctly.
I do not have my laptop with me right now, I left it at the office with my other documentation on it.
I will look up more in the morning for you.
But this very much strikes me as a corrupt driver problem.

Most likely your driver is corrupted. I would go to xerox.com and download a newer version and install a new driver.
Power off and power on your printer also.

Hello,
Please perform the following:
If the printer is connected via network, unplug the network cable and perform cold reset.

Cold reset A cold reset changes most system parameters in NVRAM to the factory defaults. However, unlike NVRAM initialization, a cold reset does not reset the page count, the paper tray sizes, language, or formatter number.
A cold reset also resets all the HP Jetdirect settings as well as the printer settings. Use the following procedure to perform a cold reset.

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Go button.
  3. Turn the printer on, and continue to hold the Go button for at least 5 seconds, but not longer than 15 seconds. During this process, the Attention LED turns on.
  4. Release the Go button.
    If both the Attention and the Ready LEDs turn on before you release the Go button, you must start the procedure again with step 1.
The printer's LEDs begin cycling. The cold-reset process runs until completion, and the printer returns to the ready state.


Then uninstall / delete the previous drivers and install the drivers from the following link:

your color laser printer pink vertical line appear on the roller and film drum,
1) you need check the pink drum surface, it got damage if you find there is a different color vertival line on the drum surface, so you need change the pink drum.
2) check the pink drum cleaner (call brush to return the waste toner), it can not clean well sometimes, if the drum surface good.

Phaser 8500 error code 19,003.48:64663


19.003:48 is the error code 64663is the number of pages the unit has printed. the error indicates a power difference of +- 20% when trying to drive the printhead. The issue is the Electronics Module (System logic and power) or the Wave Amplifier (Printhead Controller). Both of the parts are fairly easy to replace. If it is the wave amp it is a somewhat affordable part.if it is the EM you should replace the printer. It isn't worth the fix.

Solution : Print the Troubleshooting Print Quality Pages and Make Sure the Colors Are Accurate CAUTION: Use of inks other than Genuine Xerox Solid Ink may affect print quality and printer reliability. It is the only ink designed and manufactured under strict quality controls by Xerox for specific use with this printer. The Xerox Warranty, Service Agreements, and Total Satisfaction Guarantee do not cover damage, malfunction, or degradation of performance caused by use of non-Xerox supplies, or the use of Xerox supplies not specified for this printer.
To print the Troubleshooting Print Quality pages:
  1. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button on the Control Panel to select [Troubleshooting] on the Display Screen, and then press the [OK] button.
  2. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Print Quality Problems], and then press the [OK] button.
  3. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Troubleshooting Print Quality Problems], and then press the [OK] button to print the test pages.
  4. Go through the pages and find the Light Stripes Test page.

    For each color, remove an unused solid ink stick from the printer, and then use the ink stick to make a mark of color next to the corresponding color on the printed page. If the colors do not closely match, that color will need to be purged from the print head. Continue with step 6 if the colors do not closely match.
  5. NOTE: If the colors do closely match, the problem is not related to the printer's hardware. There is no hardware adjustment available on the Control Panel for calibrating individual colors.

  6. Create a document consisting of a full page (100% fill) of the color not printing correctly, or download and use one of the resource files provided in the table below. For example, if cyan ink is actually printing black, create a document that is a solid fill of cyan, or download and open the Cyan fill page provided in the table below.

    IMPORTANT: Make sure to set the Print Quality mode in the print driver to "Standard" and the TekColor Correction to "None" before performing the next step. This will allow the job to purge only the problem color. Other settings may cause the printer to use a percentage of the other ink sticks.

  7. Print approximately 50 - 100 pages of the document, as necessary, until the printed color returns to normal.

Xerox Phaser7300dt. After paper jam, the printer keeps printing the same page


That's normal for any printer. It's trying to pick up the printing of the entire document.
If it didn't print the same page again after you clear the jam, you would be missing a page.

This is usually caused by a spooling error or more likely an error within microsoft word. I would try to make a pdf of the word document and print from that.

I have a xerox 3535 printer. When i make copies it works all fine, but when i print the page comes out all black. What could be the problem? Thanks a lot in advance.


If this works the same way for all your documents and not just one particular document, then reinstall the driver for the copier. If it is a particular document that comes out all black, then the file is corrupted.

Paper Jam keeps appearing


At the print driver there is a paper size selection before you print.Select the proper size and weight and it will work fine for you.

Xerox Phaser 7300DN will not collate


Try using the PCL driver from the Xerox website, rather than the Postscript one supplied with the printer.

I had the same problem and installing the PCL driver solved it.

I had this problem when I used a generic toner. I installed a xerox cyan toner, then printed many sheets of a large blue rectangle. After about 15 pages the blue started to spread into the shape, after 30 pages the blue was back. Printing a lot of blue was necessary to get the new toner thru the system.
