AlvinInside unit fan works; outside unit does not come on. Inside unit showed H5 code once. How do I proceed?

H is most likely for heat pump, meaning error 5 on outdoor unit. My guess would be low pressure since your power to the indoor unit most likely comes from the outdoor unit. Check manual for codes or research model number error codes.

What foes Error code f1 mean?

Error Code Definition
  • According to Appliance Parts Quick, the error code is defined as a "Primary Control Failure." This means that the small computer installed in the washer has failed to send, receive or communicate with any other part of the washer.
Reset the Code
  • To stop the flashing and beeps on the washer, hold down the "Start" and " Stop" buttons for 60 seconds. If this does not work, unplug the washer for 30 seconds and plug it back it or leave it unplugged since it is inoperable.
  • The main problem is with the machine control assembly. This whole part needs to be replaced. Depending on your model, prices range from $150 to $260, as of 2011.
  • The installation of the new machine control assembly, requires manual installation and opening the washer itself. If you have never taken apart or repaired a washer, a professional should provide the service and care. Contact Whirlpool support for more information on repairs and warranty.

F1 means the central electrical control unit, i.e. the onboard computer, has fatally failed. Unless you have both the skill and tools to test the guts of this computer, you're stuck replacing it. Good news, three screws at the rear to expose the control panel, then unplug one unit; plug in the new one. Just to be on the safe side, color code all the plugs and receptacles. At wholesale, the part is $175.00. CODE 083009 part W10189966 CNTRL-ELEC

What can I do about a Gree Ductless A/C Unit with error code E6

It's newly installed. Why won't the installer troubleshoot and repair?

Communication line is just that. It will communicate via millivots or milliamperes. Voltage present must be induced, directly or indirectly. Shielding will help if it's grounded but if the installer did not ground then there's your problem. Higher voltage lines in contact with the communication lines will induce voltage into your comm line. Time to get a light and start looking for some of these things if you can't get your contractor / installer back out.

Kenmore oasis washer model #110.27062600 starts to fill then stops. Filling with F1 code.

It's a communication problem between the central control unit and the electronic control box."F1" error code means "Primary control failure" and suggested correction is to replace the machine/motor control assembly. If you use a screw driver in front of the machine to open the top you will find a repair manual on the inside of the front panel.

There are three long screws behind the control unit "hood", in the back-top of the washer, facing straight up and down. After unscrewing, lift the hood up and forward to find the electronic control. First, you should check all the wires and make sure the connections are ok. If that still doesn't fix it, unplug all the wires, and take the electronic control out by unscrewing one 1/4" bolt. Put the new one in and re-wire everything (it shows what wires go where on the electronic control box

Please get back to us if you have further query or else please accept the solution.

Hi. I have an LG Neo Plasma Air Conditioner. Some time ago it started cutting out (switching itself off) and giving a C6 error message. When this happens, the remote does not work and the unit needs to...

Looks like a possible communication error. If you're willing I got one idea for ya. Turn power off to unit. The indoor and outdoor unit are connected and "communicate " through 4 wires, these are labeled 1,2,3,4. They should be color coded inside and out. Meaning if the color black is on 1 outside it should be on 1 inside. But, regardless, at the outside unit swap 1 and 4...2 and 3. Do the EXACT same thing at the inside unit. Then turn the power back on. I have ran into communication errors on mini splits simply because the "data" wire had a little nick or some kind of extra resistance that would throw a communication error but will work just fine as a supply voltage wire. Hope it fixes the problem. Good Luck!!

Have RHOSS heat pump showing E01

Different manufacturers use different codes, as I am sure you have figured out. Most of them that I have run into E-01 means the inside and outside units are not communicating. One is without power or there is a broken or loose wire.

Washer stopped with error code f1

Was the error code F01?
If it is ther error code means EEPROM ERROR
A communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU occurred. and or
The pump driver fails to activate.
and or
One of the main relays is not working properly.

Could be cause by a power glitch. unplug unit wait 10 seconds and plug unit back in. If code returns replace Central Control Unit (CCU)
