Hello,

this is a sign of virus on your computer. Do a deep virus scan on your computer and if that doesn't solve the problem you can do a system restore.

You can restore you system back to the time when it was functioning perfectly, that is, when the cursor was not going back between words. This is will be as if you are back dating the system to the time when the cursor was not having any problems.

Go to Start menu > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > System restore.

Read the information on the system restore before you proceed.

I hope this helps to solve your problem.

Good luck.

When I type a sentence my curser will go back to the middle of the sentence and continue the sentence I am typing. Why?

Make sure you haven't got a watch/metallic bracelet on. It can interfere with the touch pad and move the cursor around unexpectedly.

When typing an e-mail in Yahoo, frequently the curser will move to an earlier location on the document causing me to type words in the middle of other words and sentences.

If this is on a laptop with a mousepad as part of the device (below the keyboard), often times, this is due to an inadvertent touching of the mousepad. It can be resolved by either being very careful with your hand positions (lifting them above the keyboard when typing), or installing a utility program that assists with ignoring inadvertent touches of the keypad.

While im typing, my curser skips back into the middle of my sentences, and i have to retype my whole sentence again...what is causing this to happen and how can i fix, thank you

if it is the same thing that happens to me you need to shut off your touchpad (mousepad) when you are typing as your fingers or palms cause the curser to jump if you touch it while typing

Typing and keyboard issues

If you're using a laptop, it sounds like the trackpad is too sensitive, so that as you type, when your thumbs touch the pad, the cursor moves.  You can adjust this easily in settings/preferences.

Key Board Typing issue

Are you using a laptop? The touchpad is sensative and when the heal of your hand even slightly touches it your curser will move.
