Question about Targus AMW15US Mouse

1 Answer

I am trying to use it on Windows Vista and on the other computer on Windows 7. In both cases the systems give an error - the devise is unknown. The result is -the mouse is not working. Are there special drivers I need to install or might be some other problem? If so, where would I find those drivers?

Try reinstalling the drivers that came with the mouse. They are below. http://www.targus.com/us/downloads/amw-amu_tiltsoftware_v4_1.exe

The manual could also help http://www.targus.com/us/downloads/amw15_ug.pdf

This seems to be a common problem with Windows 7. The ususal fix is to update the firmware. Follow this link

This version of the firmware solves the problem in most cases. If it doesn't work, please include your computer make and model.

Recently I upgraded my desktop computer with a fater processor of Intel Core i3-530(2.93 GHz., 4MB Cache)and install Windows 7 as its operating system. When I reinstall he driiver of my Lexmark Z600 InkJet...

Yes, you need to go to the Lexmark website and download a win7 driver. At a guess you tried to install a driver for an older operating system.

Go to Lexmark then follow links for support and downloads entering the O/S and printer model as required.

Alternatively, google "Lexmark Z600 driver for windows 7".

Driver missing

We had the same exact problem but with a Compaq Pesario V6000 series notebook. Ours had to do with the NVidia System Management Controller but was listed in the device manager as a coprocessor. Kind of a bland description.
Solution: Downloaded and installed NVidia System Management Controller from here. Hope this helps.

Downgrading from windows 7 beta to windows vista

Did you happen to make a recovery point? Vista is pretty good about this. Restart your system and push f8 until you get to the recovery and troubleshooting. Then just use recovery console and restore it to a previous point. If you cant do this you might need to do a fresh install of vista.
