I need to replace rear axel on 2001 chevy silverado 1500

jack up the rear end high and place chassis rails on stands. Remove wheels . disconnect brake hose to the rear and use a hose pincher to stop brake fluid leaking out . Disconnect the hand brake cable at a convenient point ( probably at the rear of the transmission. Disconnect the drive shaft at the diff pinion and lay to one side . Place the jack under the diff housing centre and take a bit of weight. . If you have leaf springs --undo the "U" bolts around the housing . If coil springs undo the track rods by removing all the pivot bush bolts. Lower the diff housing down and pull out from under the car. Make any changes you have to, to the other diff housing before placing it on the jack and placing it under the car Reassembly is the reverse process of removal.. Bleed rear brakes on completion of the job.

It doesnt open suddenly for no reason

When you turn the camera on do you hear the motor trying to extend the lens? if yes! get a can of compressed air and attach the included straw, give it a good two or three blasts where the crevice of the lens and body meet, at the same time press power to see if the lens housing can breaks free to extend. If this works point the lens down, and run the cycle three or four times to work any grit that might be trapped.

How do you remove a transmission out of a 1995 Lincoln town car. The engines a 4.6

1 jack car up far enough to work under car use jack stands to support care during work for safety
2 Disconnect all fluid lines and electrical wires.
3 Disconnect trans from engine leave one bolt loosen on right and left side
4 place floor jack trans for support
5 disconnect drive shaft from transmission (there are two point in this process disconnect from rear axle housing an slide the drive line out from trans if this does not work disconnect drive line ujoint closes to trans also
6 Disconnect any trans linkage and supports remove bolts from
trans engine connection while supporting the trans with floor jack. while removing trans pull backward and be aware that the toque converter is in the front housing of trans and will fall out if front of trans is facing to far downward.
I recommend you use an auto manual to read up on this process before taking it on.

I dropped my a1000is and now it wont start...says lens error

This is the cause of many of the problems when dropped or has had an impact of some sort, especially when the lens is extended.
The impact can damage internal parts to the point it will need replacement of parts and repair.
In spite of what I have said, the possiblity that the lens has been knocked off track does exist. So you can try to repair it, but be advised that what I will explain can damage it more.
When the camera is starting pull on the lens if you can get a hold on the lens housing. You can also push on the lens housing when it is starting, try it with a twisting motion at the same time. If the lens snaps into it's track, it may be fixed. Test the camera.
Depending on the way the camera was impacted, there may be a dent on the lens cover, or other parts. This can happen when the camera is dropped on something very hard such as cement or rocks.
If all fails, I suggest, since this is a fairly new camera, to call Canon repair department. They do have a trade-up or trade-in program, if it cannot be repaired, or is too costly. Canon Repair and info.
If that does not work, you can always sell it for parts or repairs on a site such as Ebay.

Hope it works out.

Faulty technika tv

A good way to test if a remote is working is to get a normal phone that has a camera on it.

put the camera option on the phone and point your remote at the camera phone. Press the button you believe to be faulty. whilest looking through the phone. if you see a little white light the button is working fine if not try a few of the other buttons to see if its the hole remote that is at fault.

the way this works is camera phone's dont like IR (infrared) so this will show as a little white light on your camera phone.

if it is the remote you could always buy a sky digibox remote. as the Default code will work your Technika tv. ie volume, channels, power, also the help button will change your source/av on your telly.

Hope this helps

Cheers

FUNCTION OF DV3000

Damp or just dry flex ribbons inside connecting the touchpad can be the cause and opening the camera and giving it a good wipe with wd40 or another lubricating fluid(use a fine artist paint brush)may solve your problem. The camera is easy to open but when lifting the right half of the housing away(screen side) be gentle and disconnect the flex ribbon underneath or you will tear them.

Find a lical small appliance parts dealer and get the switch in question. Pick up a repair manual while you are at it. When you take any appliance apart always make sure it is unplugged. If under warranty contact the manufacturer and have it repaired.
