iv never torqued water pump ive always snugged them up pretty good i mean you don't have to stand on the end of the wrench if you use lock tight on the bolts once you tighten them up they wont come loose and you only need a drop of lock tight on each bolt hope this helps you bob
nstall the caliper mounting bolts. Perform the following procedure before installing the caliper guide pin bolts (15 Series only).
Remove all traces of the original adhesive patch.
Clean the threads of the bolt with brake parts cleaner or the equivalent and allow to dry.
Apply Red Loctite#272 to the threads of the bolt.
Install the caliper mounting bolts (25 series). Tighten the caliper guide pin bolts to 42 Nm (31 ft. lbs.) on the 15 series; 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.) on the 25 series.
