The AC jack may be damaged due to pulling on the cord. Make sure the other cord/charger/transformer is the EXACT same power spec before plugging in, it may fry the laptops internal PSU.
If your computer will boot up but you see nothing on the screen you will need to send the laptop in for repairs through ACER or visit a computer repair shop. If the laptop is under warranty I recommend calling ACER.
If the computer is not booting up, make sure the battery is charged. There could be an issue with the charger or battery itself. You may want to , through the process of elimination, replace the charger and battery.
