No brand No model. If you can see the 50c coin which is the problem, a handy hubby should be able to figure out how to fix the problem. Sometimes you have to 'cut out the problem'..
TIP Make sure the 50c coin hasn't got between the drums in a front load situation, because that situation can cause BIG problems.
Good luck

Have a look for coins etc stuck in the drain pump or the tub outlet hoses especially where they fit onto the tub. If a coin or other foreign material blocks the water flow when draining , these machines wont spin properly.

My 97 Lesabre is draining the battery overnight. The battery is new, if i disconnect it the car starts fine when reconnected. there doesn't appear to be any lights or anything on. The car has IPM (?)...

Put an AMP Meter in series with either battery cable
& pull fuses one at a time until you find the circuit that
isn't timing out or going to sleep.

Should only have 35 to 45 milli-amps after 20 mins

So wait 20 mins then start with the fuses, if over 50 milli-amp

I have a kenmore elite front load washer and have problems with it draining completely after washing a load, from what I'm reading this seems to be a common problem with these machines, is there a recall...

if it isnt draining completly theres a 90% chance it is simply blocked, its only a common problem cos people DON'T EMPTY THEIR POCKETS! (i see this quite often infact did this morning) chances r u eitha have a bobby pin jammed in the pump propellor or a 20 cent coin acting as a butterfly valve in the tubing jus before the drain pump 20 cent coins fit perfectly through the pipe work but stop on the drain pump intake and can open and close letting water out sometimes then closing on others, if your any good with pulling stuff apart just remove the rubber piping coming off the bottom of the tub normally just a ring clamp and check for blockages and also remove drain hose and look in the hole and stick a screw driver in the hole and try turn the propellor round

How to write an electricity bill in c program(9'th class)

#include <iostream.h>
#include <conio.h>
int main()
{
clrscr();
long int units,charge=0;
float total;
const int rent=25;
cout << "Enter the number of units used : ";
cin>>units;
if(units>200)
charge=(units-200)*20+150*40+50*60;
else if(units>50)
charge=(units-50)*40+50*60;
else
charge=units*60;
total=0.01*charge+rent;
cout << "You have used " << units << " units." << endl;
cout << "Your total telephone bill is $" << total;
getch();
return 0;

Please accept the solution. Thanks, Lucy
}
This program takes in the number of units used ('units') as a screen input from the user.
It then calculates the total telephone bill for the customer on the following basis :
A compulsory fee of $25, plus
60 cents per unit for the first 50 units,
40 cents per unit for the next 150 units,
20 cents per unit for anything above 200 units.
It then outputs the bill using the 'cout' command.

I have a Maytag Neptune TL washer that won't drain. I took the front panel off and detached the hose from the pump and there were several coins in there. I removed the coins, reattached everything and...

For the FAV6800A or FAV9800A tumbler removal.

The Service manual has the procedure starting on page 37 for the tumbler removal.

It’s not difficult to remove the manual doesn’t call out the Torx driver size required for tumbler removal. You will need a number 20 Torx driver to remove the Torx screw for tumbler removal. I would get a long Number 20 Torx driver for this. See page 37 of the Service Manual for tumbler removal. Looks worse than it is.

The Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference.
When I did a recent Outer Tub Bearing replacement I found $1.78 in coins after removing the wash basket. Gotta check those pockets....:)

I have a post around somewhere of my diy Sump Screen I put in my FAV6800AW to protect the drain pump impeller from coins and other stuff from breaking the impeller or causing clogs. I'll look for the post or repost the pic's.........D*ick

My Asko 6461 washing machine - F3 code

F3 problem, I had the issue on model W6461, however, judging by the amount of F3 issues posted this could work on other ASKO models If the coin trap in the drain is clear of debris, try this. Stages as follows:
1) Open drain pump door (bottom left of machine).
2) Remove black pipe and drain residual water.
3) Unscrew coin trap and remove, use a container to hold the water.
4) Leave the container underneath and make sure you have some towels ready (I didn't at the time)
5) Where the washing machine drain hose connects to the outlet in the wall or U bend connector remove this and expose the end.
6) Blow into the drain hose as hard as possible......hopefully the blockage will clear back through the coin trap.
7) Pour some water into the open end and blow this back through the drain as well.

Result:
A large lump of sludge, three of my 5 year olds small counter coins and about a litre of water (all over the floor, don't forget the towels!)

Just ran the machine now and fault cleared.

Good luck

Jurgo

Canon MP460 feeds the paper into the printer crooked. Seems to be feeding right side in, while left side of paper remains stable.

I just got mine sorted out. It took two things:
a. luck
b. a lot of googling

Now,

The problem was 15 cents of the Euro in the following configuration: 1x10cent coin and 1x 5 cent coin...

The first thing I did was try to clean the bottom plate and the roller. I read somewhere that using some thick paper does the trick. I destroyed an office paper file (not very thick, but definately thicker than normal papers) - about 5 - 6 tries on the bottom plate clean and the roller clean, and a 5 cent coin appeared out of nowhere :)

I though that was it but I was very very wrong. At about the same time, I got the mother of all annoying canon error 5100. Although the heads moved at starting of the printer, when it came to print it had the error. I looked as much as I could and I was convinced (several times) that there was nothing in the printer. The heads moved fine, but the error was there. Rebooted the printer about 50 times, took power off etc, but nothing.

After a good 5' search with the flashlight (mobile phone) I spotted a small shine right where the little spongy thing is under where the heads rest far right when you look inside from the front of the printer. And voila, a 10 cent coin standing glorious in there and causing me all this trouble. I couldnt access it at all, but I was able to use the force of gravity (by inverting and giving a little jiggle to the printer) to get it to drop and finally got it out.

The printer works fine now, paper loads like a charm and even colour photo printing is fine.

Now I need to find a way to put back that little plate I took out (totally unecessary in the end...) and I have to sort out the removal of tons of ink from my hands.

To sum up:

It can be fixed. It's a pain in the ****. You might get richer (15cents for me!!!). You will have a full functioning MP460 printer again.

I hope this helps someone else as well :)

Disengage buzzer on Kenmore 400 dryer

The buzzer is inside the control switch area. Its about the size of 4 stacked 50 cent coins. Kill the power to the drier and then open the control panel and locate the buzzer. Remove the two wires; using electrical tape, you can tape up each wire end and then secure it out of the way. :?) DRRXR
