Hello

OK, at this moment i would suggest the best call should be to take out your sim and battery. Now, place the camera in a sealed container filled with 2 cups of rice, this will draw out any moisture. Keep it in the sealed container for at least 48 hours.

If the problem still persists after you have done this, you will need to send your phone in for repairs. Sorry, i know this is not what you wanted to hear, but, water damage is never good, as you can understand.

let me know if you need any further assistance.

kind regards
Andrea

My 1993 Maytag Clothes Dryer heats up, turns but does not dry the clothes unless I place an absorbent towel in with the items. It sweats water from the bottom of the dryer. What is going on?

To dry clothes, we need 2 things:
1-heat to evaporate the water from the clothing
2- adequate air flow to exhaust the moist air, thereby drying them.

Your heat seems to work.....if you stop the dryer mid-cycle, the clothes should be hot.

It sounds to me like you have a lack of air flow through the dryer. If you can get to the exhaust vent grill outside, then see if you get a large volume of air coming out of it. If not, then look for the louvers stuck closed on your outside grill, or any kind of blockage in your ductwork.

Perhaps undo the vent at the back of the dryer TEMPORARILY

Hi,
As the mobile is wet the circuit board inside the mobile will be fully wet.Due to this the connections between the circuits get connected(short circuited) and the mobile may behave in such a manner that it should not behave. Never put the wet mobile in charger even though it is dry and working properly. There may be water logs present in the mobile circuit which may be dangerous to the person who is using the mobile. It may lead to electric shock.
Take the mobile to the authorized dealer of your make and they will remove the water log from the mobile circuit board and it will be fine .I recommend you not to do this by yourself.
Thank You

Pantech Matrix was in my pocket when I jumped in the lake

Ours barely got wet and constantly says "check battery" then acts likes it's completely discharged and turns itself off. Plugging it in while off gives the charging indicator.

I'll report back on what happens when it shows fully charged.

I've dried my wet phones by putting them on the dash of a closed car on a warm/hot day that seems to be the most thorough way to dry them. This one didn't get that treatment due to an over anxious kid so i may have to do that tomorrow.

Pop out your battery for a minute then put it back in and turn your phone on. If that doesn't work, pull out your battery and leave the phone by a heater/ac vent in your house so it dries out. It sounds like you may have gotten it too wet. If letting it dry on the vent overnight/all day doesn't fix it, you may need a new phone.

Good luck!

One trick for getting water out of things is placing them in a bowl of dry rice, rice is known for absorbing the water out of things. Also, when you dry it out, take the battery pack off separately in the bowl, that way the insides of it have a better chance of drying out. Leave it in there for a few hours and check if it works. If it doesn't leave a comment and I'll try my best to help.
