Mcdevito75 here, hello, one of those buttons, and I figure the lower left is for the light. The button in the middle right should show the different features of your watch, press this button once and the seconds ticking by should show, press again for the date, press again and return to a steady display. Now you need the MODE button which is most likely not a button but a dimple. Look for a small dimple on the lower right side or middle left side of your watch, press this dimple in once with a needle, toothpick tec. Pressing once should get the display flashing, this is the MODE, press agin to set hours, minutes date. pressing once after each function is set to move onto the next function, once all functions are set, press MODE again to see steady display.

Thank you for contacting FixYa.

  • Press the button on the lower right side of your Indiglo watch to unlock the mode function of the watch.
  • 2 Press the button on the lower left side to move through the modes. Each time you are in a mode, the digital display will flash. For example, when the time display begins to flash, you are in the correct mode to set the time.
  • 3 Change the time (or date) by pressing the button on the upper right side to advance the numbers or the button on the left side to move the numbers down. When you do this, you will be changing the first set of numbers (the hour or month, for instance); to change the minutes, press the button on the right side of the face until the second set of numbers is flashing and begin the process again.
  • 4 Press the button on the lower left side of the watch to save your settings. The button on the upper left side of the watch is not used in this process--it is the switch to turn on your Indiglo light.

  • Best regards. Jewel

    • 1Pinch the winding knob on the right side of the watch between your thumb and forefinger.

    • 2 Pull the knob out from the watch slowly until it clicks into the first position.

    • 3Turn the knob to move the hour and minute hand to set the time. Move the knob clockwise to move the settings forward and counterclockwise to move them backwards.

I need to adjust Timex 1440 sports watch. could you help me please. I have top left as mode, top right start/stop,bottom left indiglo and bottom right is set. Thank you jyo

Go to the time mode, hold down the set button, it may take a couple of seconds and it will start blinking , then go to your mode button to move from seconds to hour to min etc.etc,etc. It probibly is your start/stop button for chaning the numbers. If that dosn't work, hold down the mode button on the time mode for a few seconds, and go from there.
