ManualsLib has the manual for the BabyLock Quest Plus (BLQ2-PL) here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/537167/Baby-Lock-Quest-Plus-Blq2-Pl.html#product-Quest%20PLUS%20BLQ2-PL . The needle stop position button is the top button above the reverse button. To adjust the needle position for straight stitches, you press the stitch width button on the sewing machine. Pressing the - button will move the needle to the left; pressing the + button moves it to the right. The machine should start with the needle centered. See page 49 of the manual for the pictures of the machine button and the stitches that allow for needle position changes. To avoid damage, you can't move the needle left or right for most zig-zag stitches. The needle will move to the left and right from the center based on the desired stitch width.
I hope this helps. If your sewing machine needle isn't centering the needle correctly when you turn on the machine, it may need to be serviced.
FWIW, not all machines have a needle "position" function even though they can make a zig-zag stitch. The home position is the center and the zig-zag selector just sets how wide the stitch will be.
Which stitch are you using? As far as I can tell, the Stylist 7258 only allows you to change the needle position for straight stitches. If the machine is set to Pattern 00, press the right or left buttons from the 4 arrow keys in the manual setting arrows until the needle is in the desired position.
For all other stitches, the left/right arrows adjust the stitch width. This is described on page 30 (in English) of the manual. You can download the manual from the product page under the support tab: http://www.singerco.com/products/2101/7258-stylist#type-support . Look at the knob which creates the zig-zag stitch (1-4) at the top right of your 930. In the center of that is a silver knob that rotates right and left. That silver switch moves the needle position right and left.
Hopefully it is a bent needle. Replace the needle first. If that doesn't work you will need an adjustment made on the hook. That is when you will need to take your machine to the repairman.
It doesn't look like you can change needle position on this machine. Even the zipper foot for this machine is made so the foot itself moves to the right or left rather than having to change the needle position.

I occasionally have the same problem with my White d'Lite 1750c. I turn the power off, let it rest a minute, then turn it on again, and the problem goes away for a long time (weeks, sometimes months). Of course, the settings go back to the default, so note your settings before turning the power off.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
