Hi,
You have can try to call Goodman directly and see if they have someone else that they can send to take care of the warranty problem... ultimately the warranty IS Goodman's not the contractor...

Goodman AC unit recently service but don't believe the filter I am using is the issue or what the tech did actually fixed my issue. Details below.

Setting the air handler to high speed will draw more current and this will result in an increase in electricity consumption.

My gas pack won't light

First, the thermostat white wire is the wire that initiates the furnace to start. When you select heat on your thermostat the tech should get a 24-28 volts between the white wire and common on the thermostat wire in the furnace. If you do not get the required voltage, there is a break in the wire from the furnace to the thermostat that needs to be tracked down and eliminated.

Goodman heating system

It really depends on the type of system you have. You will either have a furnace, high efficiency furnace, heat pump system, heat pump with gas or electric back up heat. All these systems operate differently and the problem that you are having could be caused by multiple issues, depending on which system it is. More info will be greatly appreciated. Make sure to check all filters and air flow first before going any further. The system could be over heating and tripping a limit, causing the system to stop producing heat until the unit has cooled back down.

you can get the indoor numbers do you have the paper work this has those numbers was it registered on line if so the manufacturer give additional 5 yr warranty do you know where it was purchaced the indoor numbers can be cross referenced it is gas or heat pump most problems occur from poor installation and it sounds like you have had compressor issues from day one hard starts are more for old systems that compressor should have been replaced years ago

This unit was bought June 07 - under warranty - Goodman, 13 sear, 4 ton. Three days ago the cold air was no more. There is no moisture at all in the indoor handler. The compressor sounds like it...

Sounds like the relay went bad not giving the compressor enough electrical to start up which is why you are not getting the cold air. I would recommend if it is under warranty to just let a company work on it and let them deal with the pproblem

I have a Goodman GMMT 100-4B furnace I purchased and had installed in October of 2003. I sent in my warranty card, but I cannot find a copy of my warranty. The heat exchanger is cracked and I need to know...

Contact GMC in Houston Texas. The have an 800 number. You will have to have the model and seril number if this is still shown in date for their warranty then you'll just have freight to pay. Otherwise you'll need a copy of your check or statement or reciept where you bought it witth the dealer or place you bought it. The SN and MN are all the factory will have to verify when made.If it sat in someones warehouse 2 or 4 years you'll need your proof of purchase to make it go 10 years from purchase.
If this helps PLEASE GRADE NE ACCORDINGLY. If You need more info I need more info. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK!!

I have a goodman acu model PGB030075-1A and it does not heat. The site glass is dark, not lit.

you can install a straight cool t stat that heats with the backup heat strip only. you can cool with ac only but using the heat pump reverse cycle will be a cheaper sourse of heat.have a pro look at it and give you some options. technology is changing so fast the best decision might be a new systemwith a new 10 year parts and labor warranty.
