From what you are saying I would check the breaker... either it is bad or there may be a loose wire...

It's just two wires right. They can go either way.

Why oven not heating

Bad element, bad switch or other electrical problem. You could double check switch by turning on broiler element to see if that
gets hot. If so then either oven thermostat, or element. Did the circuit breaker pop off and then you reset? So there is a short somewhere, especially if it happens again. The above test with broiler element could verify power to oven. If it pops the
circuit breaker again. You need a service technician. Usually the oven requires a dedicated wire to the oven. Don't use the oven again until the problem is resolved. There's a slim possibility
that the circuit breaker needs to be replaced. How long did you use the oven? If a long time circuit breaker is more likely because
when they begin to fail they get too hot and therefore pop. You will need an electrician to change the circuit breaker if that is the problem.

My frigidaire electric range keeps popping an F93 errror. i was wiping out the inside and probably accidentally touched buttons on the touchpad. ive tried flipping the breaker, but it just keeps beeping...

Hi - Typically error code F93 indicates a communication problem with the console control. Since you have already try to reset the unit and unfortunately it was not successful, I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward and replace the main control board.

I have a thermador oven that does not heat. Broil and Bake does not work. REpair man came in today and check power, thermostat etc. everything is good. Had said that the two legs coming in to the oven...

Call an electrician...
either the circuit breaker is bad or you have a bad connection in the wiring...
When the heavy load is put on the wiring or the breaker the poor connection causes a voltage drop.
This could be a hazardous condition to try and run it like that. Keep it off till you get the problem solved!!

Frigidaire gallery stove, oven not working,

The same thing happened to me about a week ago. I was preheating our electric oven, heard a very loud bang/pop. Checked and the oven had PF (power failure) I went downstairs and the breaker was tripped. Came back upstairs and to look at stove, the burners are working fine so I continued to preheat oven after a half an hour the oven was only slightly warm. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

After a "pop" - the oven no longer works

You should have thrown the breaker before moving the oven. The element likely shorted and blew the breaker. make sure the breaker is off. replace the element and plug it back in and reset the breaker.

Electric Dbl Wall Oven-loud popping noise at end of self clean

Bill ,i dont suspect the control unit is the problem im going back to the loud pop you heard I would say the pop you heard was one of the elemants blowing and that the reason the the breaker tripped if you say the clock, timer and light functon are ok it more so points to an elemant in most cases when an elemant blows it breaks the circuit .but the other componants also work when you reset the breaker i think in this case bill i would call a electrician it needs testing, sorry i could not help this time bill, but do not hesatate to contact me if i can help you again.adrian

Oven locked up

What breaker did you shut off? House breaker? Or the ovens internal breaker? My drop in has a set of push button breakers under the oven behind a fold down door. The fold down door is in place of a regular ovens pull out drawer. Check in there if you have one. The light are more than likely a warning somethings wrong. If this was just installed check to make sure it was grounded properly. Also check to make sure the AMP rating of the stove and the one in the house breaker box match up. The house one can be higher but not the other way around. Hope that helps.

You either have a bad element, loose wire or a short.
Start by checking the connection at the back of the stove.
Then look inside the oven to see if there is any visible evidence of damage to one of the oven elements.
I would suspect it is the bottom element that is giving you trouble.
Otherwise, if you have bad wiring to the range outlet, this could be difficult to track down.
If this is a new installation, your fuse/circuit breaker may not be high enough amps.
You may need to increase the size by installing new fuses or breaker depending on which you have.
I think a 50amp breaker would be standard, but you may need to use a 45 amp or greater. Just be sure your wire to it is heavy enough.
#6 wire would be better for a double oven situation.
