Hi, sounds as though the duct has come loose or most ducts have dampers in them. They have a orange or blue flag hanging on them. The wing nut will sometimes get loose and close off the vent. I don't know if your ducts are in the attic or under the home, but you can check with a good light to see what has happened. You will be able to hear or feel the air blowing if you leave the unit on, and you may want to take a roll of duct tape in with you so you don't have to make 2 trips. This is the best way to do it. If you have had any repairman in there they will sometimes smash the duct with there knee causing loss of air. Please don't forget to rate me as I know you will be kind. Keep me posted on this also. I will be here if you need me.
Sincerely,

Why is my Mitsubishi mr slim is blowing black particles into room?

Area where "fresh" air is being pulled in is dirty, filter needs replacement, heat exchanger is old, a seal is old/torn, or mold is shooting out!

Hi,

Here is a tip about Mitsubishi Air Conditioners and how to get the manuals for all of the Mitsubishi line. The manual include both troubleshooting and installation.

Fan works, air conditioning does not. Try resetting the power (in the proper sequence - outdoor unit followed by indoor unit). Air conditioning came on briefly (less than a minute) than stopped, leaving...

Without seeing the unit,

1 - the condenser fan (which is in the outdoor unit) could be blown. This would cause the unit to go off on high head pressure.

2 - it could be low on refrigerant, which makes it do nothing but blow room temperature air around. The unit would go off on low pressure

3 - the filter is dirty, blocking the cooling

4 - the compressor could be shorted, or a corroded wire somewhere that feeds the contactor

Mr. Slim Ductless Splits are the best on the market and should only be repaired by a trained technician.

Hope this helps.

Mr slim unit in bedroom 9kbtu - room 11x12'- is humid, awful

Lets clarify. DRY mode only dehumidifes that air and does not cool. Cool is used for cooling. Dry mode doesn't normally have temp control; it is automatically set by the unit. I think 9000btu is a big unit for the room; it is overkill. I would switch to a 5000btu unit. it cannot be fixed and the BR unit needs to be uninstalled and the new unit needs to be re-installed. The price of commisioning, de-commisioning and new unit is something in which you will have to pay.

Just blows "coolish" air

Could be a dirty filter, or the coils need cleaning, or a refrigerant leak and it's not fully charged.
