Heating is usually a symbol like thea sun, and cooling is often a symbol like a snowflake. Dehumidifying may be a symbol like a raindrop.

Is it Waterproof?

No. It should survive a couple of raindrops or sweaty hands, but it will not survive being left out in the rain or dunked into a swimming pool.

Why is it the rain drops cannot kill people?

Raindrops have a small volume and low mass, so they reach terminal velocity very quickly - they stop accelerating long before they reach a dangerous speed.

I hope this answer helps!

Raindrop symbol flashing - won't print

Try replacing the cartridges, if that doesn't fix it then that means the printhead is bad and since you can't buy that part, you would need to get a new printer.

It sounds like raindrops inside my window ac

when the humidity is high it condenses on the evaporator .. that water runs out of a drain if the unit is properly mounted . a little of the water is retained and is used to help cool the condenser coil ... thats the sound you hear .. water is being picked up by the fan and splashed over the condenser coil to help increase the efficiency of the unit ... if the unit is mounted such that its tilted in a little then you may get too much retained water ... the same if the drain is clogged .. but a little water splashing around is normal and a desirable thing to increase efficiency ... check the mounting angle and the outside condensate drain,,

When the control is set on air conditioning, it has recently started to dehumidify also on that setting. What to do? The unit is 5 years old.

I'm sorry is the unit set on COOL (snowflake) or DRY (raindrop) All air conditioner will dehumidify when in cooling mode. That is just the dynamics of air conditioning. The air should still be cool depending on your settings. if the air is not cool and you have confirmed that it is in cooling mode, check that the filters are clean and if they are have the system serviced.

I take the time to answer your question, so please rate me.
Thankyou Mat
