It's always best to transport upright. They are not shipped at anytime from the factory laying down.

Toshiba 65h82 has sound but no picture, what are likely causes?

Most likely you have a high voltage failure. This TV has 3 CRTs that are driven by high voltage. If one tube fails it shuts them all down. If the HV circuit has failed it may be time for a new TV

I have a Sony Wega KP-FX432M91 Prjection TV. I am moving house and I want to know if I can lay the TV flat on it's back to move as it's too tall to stand upright in our vehicle

Hi,
Please do not lay tv on its back because of its internal design, things are mounted inside vertically and screws are holding them in place. Laying tv on back will put force on screws that might came off or get loose and you will end up with a distorted picture on tv screen.
Move tv in stand upright position, it is safe.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Refrigerator was unplugged for a week. We moved it from one house to another and plugged it in and it's not turning on. The light is on but motor isn't starting. Any Ideas?

ck power at new house ( the plug ) do the lights come on in frig ? if so look for wires under frig that may have been puled off during move .. this should not be a tuff one . / the frig should not been damaged by beeing off . did you lay it down dueing the move ( it chould have been kept upright .. as laying down causes the oil to ru up in the cold coil .) hope this hepls mm

I just set up my Frigidaire upright Freezer, only

Rule of thumb, if you lay a frig/freezer on side let sit upright at new location for 24 hours before plugging it in.

Moved fridg to new house pluged it in dosen,t get coled at all!!!

If you had to lay the fridge down to move it? Then you have to let it stand upright for at least 24 hours before you can plug it in and use it or it won't cool, as oil will get into the coolant lines and foul the works.
If you didn't have to lay it down, then check for a switch and or harness under the front grill that may have got bumped out of adjustment of knocked the plug off.
I hope this helps you, and good luck.

Moving a Kenmore upright freezer

there would be a problem if you lay it down. it should be moved up right or max 45 degrees tilt only. oil in the compressor could go to the evaporator and clog it.

front handles could be remove only from the inside. you have to remove the plastic rack of the door and remove the insulation in order to see the bolt holding the handle.

tnx 4 using fixya,
