Hello,

the phone is locked, that's why its not giving you the imei number, Also, since you bought it second hand, there is no way you can know the unlock code, except the person you bought it from tells you. The Default code for all Nokia phones is 12345, so once 12345 does not work, then it means the previous owner must have locked it with another code.

At the point, you need to focus your attention on your to unlock the phone. It is certain that you cannot unlock this phone for free, anywhere or on any site.

Some sites offer to unlock phones and charge some amount of money, but I won't recommend that for you because those unlock codes are not reliable.

I would advice that you take the phone to a phone tech within your area/vicinity, and your phone will be unlocked there within a couple of minutes. The phone code will be reset with with computer using a phone cable. I'm sure you do not have the facilities to unlock your phone that's why I'm referring you to a phone tech.

But if you want to unlock your phone online, you can visit this link: http://mobileunlocked.com/index.php

Good luck.

I've bought a second hand handset (l6).both lock and security codes have been modified.unfortunately the last owner can no more remember the new codes.

This phone is locked to the original mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (Security Code) for this phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc
1)To get the security code/restriction code to unlock thecell phone from the current cell phone service provider
2)If your phone provider does not help you then this WEB site it provides security codes for a small price. http://www.mobileunlockstore.com/?gclid=CKDb2_y2558CFSlJagodxBkDHw
3)Try this WEB site also - UnlockFree http://www.unlock-free.com
4)You can also try this WEB site :-
http://www.mobileunlockguide.com/mobile-phone/
5)For Nokia phone - try this WEB site too :-
www.unlock-free.com/nokia-master
6)The IMEI number is unique the each mobile phone.
The number is printed on the label under the battery.
You can also get the IMEI number by entering this on your phone
*#06# It will then display your IMEI number and you may also get a unique global serial number. Your IMEI number should be 15 digits.

Try typing in 0000 or 1234 or the last 4 of your current phone number. Or if you bought the phone used it is the last 4 digits of the other persons cellphone number.

Unlock 6300

Sorry but Nokia 6300 have a special chip in them, known as BB5. This means the only way to get an unlock code is by calling your network and asking them for it. but you can try the following step to see if it will work

1. Start your phone without your new SIM or any SIM card in it 2. Now hit *#06# on your cell phone. When you do it, your IMEI number, a unique global serial number for your cell phone shows up. Your IMEI number should be 15 digits. 3. Now, choose the model of your Cell phone. If you don’t know your cell phone model number, you can always find out by removing the cell/battery of your phone. The model number along with the IMEI of the phone should be present. 4. Now, select the country and the operator the phone is locked to. For example “USA- T-Mobile” 5. You are now given the unlock codes for your cell phone. A lot of people have a problem punching in the alphabet p and w while entering the unlock codes. To enter the codes, here is a visual guide below as well as the step by step procedure Step by Step guide to enter the unlock code for a cell phone : a. Push # b. Push * 3 times in a second. (p will show) c. Push * 4 times in a second.(w will show) d. Push * 2 times in a second(+ will show) e. Enter the code from below. f. Push * 2 times in a second.(+ will show) g. Enter the code number h.Push # Visual Guide on How to enter the Unlock codes for a cell phone

My lock code wont work.

Hi, the problem is if you have entered the code wrong more than 5 times then the phone is hardlocked and will need unlocking software and lead ok.
Also is the code asked as soon as you switch the phone on if it is then i might be able to help you as every phone has a master code but this code wont work if its been entered wrong 5 times.
If you have not tried to enter any code more that 5 times then the master code should unlock your phone for you ok.
What i need is your imei number its on back of the phone under the battery and looks like 12345/12/123456/12 its 15 numbers long ok.
I need this as every single phone has a unique master code based on the imei number.
So as long as you have not tried entering more than 5 wrong guesses then the master code will work ok

To enter the code to the phone (switch on without SIM card).

If YOU DONT KNOW – which lock is closed do the following:

1. Enter the first code, if it’s the wrong code – WAIT 30 seconds!!! And then:
2. Enter the code number seven this will open all locks.

To enter the code:
1. Push #
2. Push * 3 times in one second. (p will show)
3. Push * 4 times in one second.(w will show)
4. Push * 2 times in one second(+ will show)
5. Enter the code from below.
6. Push * 2 times in one second.(+ will show)
7. Enter the code number
8.Push #

23433000=Orange;United Kingdom
Your code's are:

#pw+232565561067365+1#
#pw+129374053765377+2#
#pw+207915537571110+3#
#pw+005243331324740+4#
#pw+335406761366507+5#
#pw+023443454106742+6#
#pw+712940740001142+7#
Now a message like "Sim restriction off" should be displayed. That means your phone is now unlocked.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Blacklisting:
This is not a security code, but it works like one! To help combat mobile phone thefts, the networks share a database of the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) of mobile phones that have been reported stolen. Once a phone is on this list, it will not be allowed to use any of the networks.
This can be a risk if you buy a second-hand phone, because if it has been stolen, or if an unscrupulous seller makes an insurance claim after selling, the phone you bought in good faith may be permanently disabled.

Encounter 5 time

Hi i think i answered your first post if you have entered the code wrong more than 5 times then you can often by the flash lead and software off net try using search engine and type in nokia unlocking software and lead
This should bring up loads of sites that sell what your after you cant buy it in any phone shops as its not endorsed by nokia and is something nokia dont think you should have acess to as alot of stolen phones use this programme to unlock them and use them again.
You can try the master code if you like some nokias depending on what software version your phone has will allow the code to work after 5 times if you want to try the code then i need your imei number than i can send you master code let me know ok
