Question about Lands Phones
A Partner ACS version ONE???? Wow. O.K. What happens when you dial the extension you plugged the ansering machine into? I assume it's a port on the switch, so it has an extension number of 11-17 (there has to be a system phone in ext 10).
If you get it to answer internally, then you must have lost programming on the port. If you don't have a manual, get it here. http://www.wedophones.com/Manuals/AT&T/Partner%20ACS%20R1-0%20Programming%20and%20Use.pdf
From memory, that is changed in Centralized programming and you get there from the display phone (34D) on extension 10 by pressing FEATURE 00 LIC LIC RIC and dial the extension the answering machine is on. Your line lights will be blinking or solid, depending on what the ring status is. If you press it, the line will switch to another of the 3 states. Keep pressing it until what you want (immediate ring) is in the display.
If you search the manual for Line Ringing, you will be able to read more about the feature and possibly what may have changed.
