Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

The Black Series by shift3 turntable. I need support or have questions on correct operation of the player. I followed the operators manual on installation and I've checked it more than once. The player only records one song at a time (that is, it only transfers one at a time even though I record all the LP). It should record the complete LP and also allow breaks between songs. Sometimes there is also a problem with connectivity between the player and the program (EZ Vinyl Tape Converter) which came with the player as its operating disc. The program does not show it is connected. I've been unable to contact the parent company for support which is MerchSource, LLC.

All I need is software for the Shift3 Turntable - The Black Series. The CD in the box was blank. I called MerchSource as suggested above to a long wait then a disconnect. Also left a message for Mike. Help?

I have a shift3 black series deck turntable/converter, which lists compatibility with windows XP and vista (!)... I need to use it with my Toshiba Satellite which has windows 8. I dont even know were to...

I guess the first thing you need is the USB cable. Tahe a good photo of USB output of your turntable and wisit any computer prts shop. They will help you select the cable you need.
More complicated issue is the software. Probably it had an XP/Vista driver but you don't have it
You should connect it and try if your computer can recognize something
If no way, try exploring Sharp's website for contact/support

MTD model number 13RL771H029. I purchased it in 2008 with 46" deck. Are all 3 spindles the same part number

I have an operator's manual for an MTD Model Series 760-770 Lawn Tractor. This Manual seems to indicate two different part numbers for the spindles on a 46" deck. One spindle is a Double Pulley, part number 618-04134B. The other two spindles are single pulley, part number 618-0240A.

However 760-770 is a series number. So this does not necessarily match your machine. The first question is what year is your Lawn Tractor? Following is a discussion of MTD serial numbers from 1997 till now. Pre 1997 is a different discussion.

The second question is what is your actual Model Number?

Locating Your Model and Serial Numbers

The model and serial numbers are essential to find correct MTDĀ® genuine factory replacement part numbers for your outdoor power equipment. Once you know these numbers, you can use either the illustrated parts look-up tool or the operator's manual download to easily search for the correct part numbers needed.

What should my model and serial number look like?

MTD's current (1997 and later) model and serial numbers are generally 11 characters in length. A character could be a number, dash or a letter. If 0 represented all numbers and/or dashes and X represented all letters, the model and serial numbers should appear as follows: 00XX000X000.

These are made of both letters and numbers, and typically look like this: 11AA111A111.

Why won't the door shut on my cassette player shut with a cassette in itwhy can't i get an answer to my question

I'm sorry, but it seems you may have a product that no one has any experience with.

But just to help in any way I can I will suggest reading your operational manual to make sure your inserting the tape correctly.

Or maybe your tape has reach the end of the roll and is automatically ejecting it?
Check that all other applicable settings are correct for insertion of a cassette tape.
Does your device allow a "recorded tape" to be played? Or does it only accept "recordable tapes" to be recorded? I do recall that cassettes have a way of being identified by a player as to whether or not it is a "recordable" or a "non-recordable" tape.
I probably wasn't the best help you could have got here on fixya, but I have exhausted my advise to you, as general as it may be.
If my advise wasn't the solution, please be patient or reword your question to attract the experts in the field of cassette recorders or music recording equipment. Different headings will be directed to the answering panels that are associated with answering those type of questions.

Good luck

How do I get the turn table to move into play position

When you say the 'turn table into the play position' I assume that you mean the stylus arm (that holds the needle). Make sure that the turntable is made to automatically move the arm into the play position. Some turntables are manual, and do not have this feature. If yours does, the mechanism operates off a series of levers and cams that are operated off the turntable motor. Make sure that they are not jammed, and are lightly lubricated. There should be a lever control that sends the unit into the automatic mode. Move the lever to automatic, and watch the mechanism move and see if it is being jammed.

Operateing manual crosley 5-1 entertanment center surprise that a modular player that couches its functions in the "central entertainment" euphemism and purports to be manufactured by and under the low-price-tv brand of black-and-white days of yore, might cause trepidation among hapless buyers or giftees who might decide after, or even before, years of shelf display ignonimy, to see what it might do if actually operated. The only advice possible given the question as asked, is to take 1 of the five in one things at a time and see what you can make it do. If there is still an instruction manual, read it, too.

I want to know how to operate iTTUSB.

I think it's plug and play. Plug the record player in the usb slot, let your computer find it, turn on your recording program, drop the needle on the record.

Need driver for windows to have the Crosley CR249 turntable work correctly.

Insert the enclosed software cd into your computer.
Follow the instructions on the computer screen to install the software. If the software does not load automatically, browse the cd and open the Read Me folder for further instructions.
Connect the small end of the USB to the USB jack on the back of the unit.
Connect the other end to a USB port on your computer.
On your computer open the Record Recording software.
For instructions on operating the Record Recording software, browse the software cd and open the Read Me folder.

I got that from the manual. You don't need a separate USB driver for it, mate, but you DEFINITELY need the cd...

Hoping you have the cd,

Chris (ziraffa)

No sound output

Check the following: 1. Volume Control on the media player 2. Volume control on the operating system 3. Volume control on the speaker, AND the power 4. Check the speaker plug, is it correctly inserted to output/speaker port of audio card? 5. Check your audio setting in BIOS, is it correctly set and recognize by the operating system?
I provide general answer to general questions, if you could be more specific (like type of OS, type of motherboard, media player software, etc.) I can provide more specific answer.
