Question about Apple iPod Touch 8GB 32GB 64GB 3rd Generation iTouch Zebra Skin Case Cover Protector Pink and Black

2 Answers

All I can remember is the last few details... First I bought 2 songs off of itunes, then noticed that the 2 songs were not downloaded. It said "download error, tap to try again. So I thought I maxed the storage since I DL and watch machinima.com videos. I tried to erase one and each time it kicked me back to the home/app screen. After that I decided to turn off the Ipod by using the red slider. When I tried to turn on the ipod again it would just hang on the apple startup screen. I've tried to connect it to the first computer I started the ipod with and it will not recognize. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Done as you said and it hangs on the apple startup screen till it loses it's charge. Now when I turn it on it has the battery symbol and the plug in -> charge icon. It was fully charged when I started this and thought if I could let it run out of power, it would revert back. Guess I was wrong.

Ok. All it does now is hang on the apple startup screen till it loses its charge and when I turn it on it has the plug in -> power icons on it. then back to the same apple screen afterwards. no change witth the hold home & power button.

This is how you can recover your device:

  1. Plug/connect your device to a computer (PC or Mac)
  2. Turn it OFF
  3. Press and hold the POWER and HOME buttons together for EXACTLY 10seconds
  4. Release the POWER button but keep holding the HOME button until the computer beeps indicating that a USB device is recognized.
  5. Open iTunes and restore your device.

Warning: Restoring will delete all data on your device but this is the only way for you to recover it.

If you don't get it at first, try holding the buttons for lesser time or see the other procedures on my tip (link below):

Hello,

I will advice you try reset the ipod, Press and hold the power and menu button simultaneously at least for 20 secs, then release when the iphone turns off and restarts automatically, this should fix the problem.

Take care.

I have apple ipod 4GB Model MA426 send the songs computer to ipod

Hi there and welcome at Fixya, the support team (lfete)

I mean your iPod you can just insert it in the computer with the cable and the computer will install the driver :O) then you can see the storage in the Folder "My Computer". Open the drive and simply copy and paste the songs you want to have on it, you find the copy and paste function if you highlight a song and then right click on the mouse. Remember this !! you can copy more songs in once by holding the control (Ctrl) button down when selecting the songs with the mouse OR you can copy several songs after eachother by highlight the first song and then press "Shift" and highlight the last song.

you can also use iTunes to transfer your music :
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

you can find the manual to your iPod here:

AND HERE :

For reading the manual you need a PDF-Reader and you can get one for free here :

I have a MAC and it will recognise the sandisk m240 mp3 player. When you look under the finder tab it is there. But when I try to download songs from i tunes it won't work. Any ideas?

Hello,

Tranferring songs from iTunes to the m240 needs to be done in mp3 format. iTunes music in aac format should be converted to mp3.

Putting files in the mp3 format:
1. Using iTunes 7:

2. using iTunes 8:

On next site follow the steps how to download mp3 files in iTunes proceeding from step 1:

Downloading songs from itunes to the MP3 player

The GPX mp3 player is incompatible with iTunes (as are most non-iPod mp3 players). There are a few mp3 players out there that are iTunes compatible, but this is not the one.

Download to BlackJack II

What format are the itunes songs in? The Blackjack II will read WMA, MP3, and a few others but not itunes format.

The easiest way to get music on the phone is by putting all of the songs onto a memory card (Micro SD) and then put the memory card into the phone.

My ipod won't play songs I bought from itunes, and it won't let me download new ones.

Unfortunately, if you did not back up your music, the songs cannot be recovered. iTunes allows for one download of a song purchased.
