Fire department says it is leaking at pressure switch, does this unit have a unloader valve and a check valve?

It would have to have a check valve and a unloader valve or it could not start again with any air pressure in the tank. The unloader is in the limit switch, should see a small plastic air line going into the limit switch, when the limit switch shuts off the electric motor it drains the pressure in the cylinder so there is no load on the compressor so it can start, so if there is air coming out of the unloader when the electric motor is shut off it is the check valve if it is coming out all the time even with the motor running it is the unloader in the limit switch.

Witch blower is running, the inducer or the systems blower?
System blower could mean the the high limit is opening and shutting down the systems gas train, I would check this out first.

The other problem could be with the pressure switch for the gas train, it is supplied from the inducer motor, check to see if it is operating fully.

HSI boards do go from time to time, this sounds more like a system control problem.

Tv lift does not raise to proper level the details below explain all this

Dear Ted
Sounds like the stop limit is incorrect. There are three possible ways motors establish a stop limit. The most common is a limit switch(a small black box with a lever or button that sops the motor when this lever/button is activated). There are two one to stop on the way up and one on the way down. If this is the case then the up switch is being pressed too early something might have come loose and is now activating this switch early. The second way is through electrical current monitoring. When the motor controller detects a higher current draw it stops. This happens when the mechanism reaches the travel limit and stops moving creating resistance to the motor turning and the motor daws a higher current to continue pushing. the motor controller senses this and stops the motor. Check to see that nothing is hampering the travel of the rails creating resistance. The third method is to program the motor controller for a specific time or motor turns to stop the mechanism travel at preset levels. This can be found in the installation manual.
Hope this helps.

Can I safely bypass the thermo switch on my Panasonic vacuum cleaner? It has a chronic issue of shutting down after vacuuming about 200 square feet of carpet.

I would make sure the filters are clean for this vacuum. Dirty filters will cause a motor to overheat and trip the thermal switch. If this machine has bags make sure the bag is not full. On some machines there is a filter under the bag where it meets the motor housing. I would not recommend bypassing the thermal switch. It is there for your protection. The motor could possibly burn up without it.

Dryer runs & heats, but after 1 or2 cycles it will not start, the start button will just buzz. I ran it for 20 minutes without anything in it.when i shut it off it would not start again. I let it sit for...

The high limit just shuts off the heating element, so that wouldn't determine if the dryer runs or not. normally if the dryer wont turn on after you have run it then will restart after it has been off for a while it usually means that the motor is overheating and what is happenning is the motor has a limit switch on it that shuts the motor off when it gets too hot. It is a resettable switch, so when the motor cools down it will restart. The only way that the motor overheats that much is either a bad motor or something causing enough drag on the motor to cause it to overheat but normally if something is causing drag on the motor, such as a bad roller, blower wheel ect., the belt ususally takes a dive too. All that to answer your original question about the high limit, most likely not.

H250 cycles on and off pressure is fine. system normal light on. new sand and clear pool. would like to know how to fix problem myself.

I would probably look at your high limit switches first and then at the bypass assembly inside of the header. The bypass controls the heat rise inside the heater. If it is bad, it may heat up too quickly, opening up one of your high limits. That will shut down the heater, once it cools back down, it will start again, and so on and so on.

Pressure, draft safeguard, or aux limit swtch did not close or re

The limit switch on the inducer has tripped. There are two wires that go to a small disk about the size of dime that has a small button in the center. Push this little button and you will feel a littl snap and the unit should fire up. Check all the manual reset limits as well. If the unit still won't start, jump the two wires by bypassing the limit switch. If it starts, then replace the switch. Bypassing the switch is only temporary and could lead to death if it is used as a permenant fix.

Magic chef not cooling

The compressor is shutting down because it is drawing too much power and overheating. The clixon detects this and shuts off all power till it cools - then it resets and supplies power back to compressor until it overheats and problem repeats itself.
So what is responsible for overheating? Well, if there is an obstruction in the cooling system (high pressure side), the compression goes up past spec and the motor labors and slows down, creating less back emf, and increasing current consumption > then overheats and turns off. OR, if some of the the motor windings have had the insulation melt off, then the motor has less resistance than designed, more current goes through and again it overheats and shuts down. In this case your motor is fubar and needs to be replaced.
