Question about RCA Computers & Internet
All your problems are caused by the fact that the ROKU doesn't know to which router to connect - there are several routers in your vicinity that have the same name as yours (the default one). The SSID is the name that the wireless router (the DWG855T) is broadcasting. Go into the settings of the router and change it with something unique like your pet's name then set a new password.
This should fix your problem.

If your TV has more than one input, you could connect the cable box to one and the Roku to another .
If both Roku and the cable box must use the same input to the TV, you can get a video switch (these exist for both analog and digital connections)
