Boot from the WinXP CD, choose 'R' to load the Recovery Console, provide the administrator password if prompted, then type chkdsk /r and press 'enter'. This will check your hard drive for errors and will take awhile. When it is finished, reboot the computer. If Windows still won't boot, re-boot from the WinXP CD again - this time press 'enter' to setup Windows now, press F8 when prompted, when it locates your current installation of Windows, press 'R' to repair it.

just Refix RAM sticks and start your pc.Its better you refix the hard disk connectors also. Normally its because RAM issue. Just open the CPU cover and clean the RAM slots and refix RAMs. You can put one by one if you have multiple RAMs. check with different RAM slots. If you still get this sound you need to get new RAMs

RAM will look like as in below picture

I have a toshiba 305 and get the error message the instructions at 0x760f6770 referenced memory at 0x760f6770. the required data was not placed into memory because of an i/o error status 0f 0xc000000e.

It is memory related issue.
First check in back side of laptop and refix RAM memory .
Also you have remove bugs in harddisk for that boot your laptop with recovery disk or bootable winxp disk then enter in recovery console mode then type in prompt "chkdsk /r" then press "y' then it fix error on harddisk.
For refix RAM you have open 1 small plate in back side of laptop it is for RAM module.
