Question about Emerson EWL2005 20 in. LCD Television
That is not a DIY problem this problem requires a technical knowledge to fix it.It is more technical.I would suggest to bring your TV to a repair shop. thank you!

Find the 115 volts line that goes to the high tension/flyback transformer then disconnect it - unsolder the safety strap or the first resistor. Without it the power source should start long enough to test the other voltages from the outputs. If none of the voltages is present then check the power transistor of the source and the rectifiers - if they are ok then the transformer of the source is gone and must be replaced. If one of the voltages is lower or not at all then test all components that are poweredby it.
If all voltages are on then the high tension block is faulty - replace the power transistor. If the transistor is fried immediately then the flyback transformer is fried - replace it.
