Remove from the plug and then push to reset. If the breaker trips off again the fault can be due to high current factor in the motor.
Release motor circuit to test.

From the description it sounds as if there had to be a short in the unit somewhere. This is what would have tripped the breaker. the fact that it is not tripping could mean that there is a fusible link or that the wires or whatever have burned back from the short, and are no longer shorting out.

My e wave microwave appears to be in fine working order until the door is opened. It then trips the breaker and ceases working. Ater the house breaker is reset, the power is restored to the microwave...

You may have a short circuit on the INTERIOR LIGHT BULB circuit in your microwave.

This might explain why the breaker trips every time you open the door.

If so, you would have to unplug and disassemble the unit in order to access the wires and light bulb socket inside the case in order to troubleshoot and repair the problem.

If you are unfamiliar with safe electrical troubleshooting and repair procedures, please be extremely careful or consider hiring an electrician to do the work. There are some hazardous components inside which remain dangerous even after the unit is unplugged.

Good luck.

My vacuum worked just fine... i went in another room to use it and now it won't turn on no matter what outlet i use!

If it works in the other room's outlets, I would think that it might be tripping the circuit breaker for the room it isn't working in. Check your circuit breakers.

My Hoover Windtunnel blew the circuit breaker today, and did so again after I reset the breaker and turned off the only other appliance on that circuit. Any advice? Thanks from GrGrandma in Fremont

There could be a problem with the vac, the only way to know is to use an ammeter and test the current draw of the unit. If the vac is ok, the breaker could be failing. Plug the vac into another receptacle on a different breaker and see if it still trips the breaker; if it does, then have the vac checked out
