Your problem is 1 long, 2 short beep; this is for monitor or graphics card error. Since your motherboard has an onboard VGA you don't need an external VGA card. In case your motherboard is a brand new one, I suggest you to request a replacement. If your motherboard is not a brand new one, you could bypass this problem using an external VGA card. It's up on you to decide which solution you prefer.

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((motherboard to your hard drive))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

It's like comparing the 'grocery getter car' to a fuel dragster.

The Core i3 targeted to laptops can use three different pin-outs, PGA988, BGA1023 or BGA1288. They carry the same main features as socket 1156 models: integrated DDR3 dual-channel memory controller the maximum supported clock rate depends on the CPU, models that support DDR3 memories up to 1066 MHz also support 800 MHz memories ; integrated PCI Express 2.0 controller supporting one x16 lane or one x8 lanes, and DMI bus.


The main difference between laptop and desktop models is the clock rates: in order to save battery life, laptop models have a far lower nominal clock rate.


Referring to pin-outs as stated above the socket you are looking for is specifically designed for laptop, desktop pinouts for first generation icore series are sockets 1156 and 1366. for second generation icores socket 1155. In my opinion you need your laptop motherboard repaired or replaced.

Windows 7 Release Candidate was publically released on May 5, 2009. This should be the final release before it goes live later this year. download it, install it in a VM inside of VirtualBox and try to install Oracle on it. There is no Oracle release for Windows 7, so instead grab the Windows 2008 one. The install is pretty straight forward. The only "gotcha" is that if you go to the command prompt, you need to run it as the Administrator, so that all of the Oracle commands will work (lsnrctl, dbca, netca etc...) Really there is not that much to it as it was pretty seemless. So, if you download Windows 7, then you can also download Oracle 11g and start playing with it today!

My system randomly shut downs sometimes, my core temp is some times reading 90,95


This is very high, 70 to 75 seems the safest temp.
I would remove the HSF, clean the cpu. and refit the HSF with new thermal paste.

made some quick research.. i would say the mobo unable to support the new processor. checked the BIOS update n CPU support list in Abit's site..

didn't show X4 processor is supported :(
