Unfortunately you can't. The fault is typically caused by a fracture in the flexible circuit board which is non-repairable.
Your camera was excellent but it's now about ten to thirteen years old and the spare parts required to repair it are long discontinued. In any case, the circuit board on your camera is extremely difficult to replace as it was never intended to be replaced. As your camera was only designed to last a maximum of six years it's done pretty well but nothing lasts forever.
In this case, the only realistic fix is to replace the camera.
