Question about Philips Audio Players & Recorders
This seems to be a problem with lens. Either you could go ahead and run a lens cleaner CD or you could open the player and clean the lens with a clean cotton. There is no point of sending the unit for repair or even DIY. The cost of the lens and time taken for the complete repair is not worth the money you would spend. The cost of DIY is still expensive as compared to the cost of the complete machine. Moreover, you need to search for the lens for this model which could take days or even weeks, or you might have to buy an aftermarket lens which never guarantee the lifetime.
If you still wanted to repair, revert and i could tell you a generic procedure to change the lens.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
