Make sure that your contacts are clean, try some alcohal and that the magnet on the wheel is at the right angle. Your manual should tell you how to program it for km/h, don't forget you changed batteries.

My cadence is no longer working, but everything Else is picking up.

A couple of things you can check: * Is the little magnet still attached to the pedal crank (probably on the left side)? * Is the magnet 'reader' still attached to the frame (again, probably on the left)? * Does the magnet 'reader' need batteries? Do they need changing? * Does the reader still line up with the magnet? Close enough to 'read'? Rgds, Scott

I have a Bell F12 Bike computer. After hitting a bump, the magnet fell out of the plastic housing mounted to the spole. Where can I get a replacemnt magnet? The unit is relatively new so I prefer not to...

Any magnet will work... modify a refrigerator magnet and superglue it to the plastic housing. Some of them are soft enough to cut or sand to a specific shape. As long as you get the magnet close enough to the sensor even a weaker magnet should work just fine, but starting with a good strong magnet will make everything easier. Good luck!

A battery showing 12V without a load attached means nothing. You probably have one or more weak cells and they simply cannot supply enough power. I would try a new battery before I try anything else.

Sigma wireless bicycle computer. Model BC 1606L. Wireless cadence monitor has abruptly stopped working. All other functions of this unit working perfectly. Transmitting unit and receiver have new...

Did you throw the magnet on the crankarm? If not check the alignment of the transmitter and the magnet - sometimes they need to be quite close. Sometimes they just fail. I have seen instances where cadence worked and speed didn't and vice versa - so the unit is transmitting perfectly, but one of the sensors has gone bad.

Hi! Here's the background. Computer has worked fine for weeks. Today I cleaned my bike and repositioned the sensor and the magnet slightly up the fork closer to the computer. The magnet and the sensor...

As you know, both units use a single cell battery: a 2032 if I recall. It is just possible for a cell to die for no reason at all. If you would try to replace each cell, one at a time. A defective battery contact would also cause a no-reading situation. I've used my Micro Wireless for about two years now. Had to change a pair of batteries recently, but aside from that, it's working well, and the head and the sender are pretty far apart. Good luck.

You want to make sure the magnet on the front wheel is being picked by the receiver on the fork. Sometimes that magnet attached to the spoke will move on the spoke so that it no longer closely passes by the receiver. If the magnet has been lost, check with you can check with your local bike shop for an extra.

It's possible water contamination is the problem. Put the computer in a Ziploc bag of rice for a day and try again. If that does not work probably a replacement is the best option, assuming it is out of warranty.

After installing new battery transmitter does not activate reciever. reciever still tells time etc.

You may need a new battery in the sending unit as well.

Also make sure that the wheel magnet is close enough to the sender to pick up the signal to send.
