To some degree they are correct. Your printer is NOT Windows 7 compatible. However that does not mean that some of the functions may not work. According to HP it can be made to partially work with W7. However for the price of new ink cartridges for this old printer which you may or may not ever get to work correctly, you can buy a brand new printer that will work with W7 and be superior to the printer you now have. From my experience with old printers this may very well be your best solution but it is your choice. I personally would just buy a new pinter. run windows 7 in virtual xp mode, the printer will function but you will not see the ink levels and I have not found a way to show ink levels. at least we don't have to get a new printer as jay seems to think is the best solution,,,I have yet to find a better printer than this one even with all the new technology. suggest that jay actually think about what he writes before putting it down. just saying a printer is old is definitely not helpful to anyone.

This is where most Pc user fell prey to the new features of Windows 7. I agreed windows 7 is far more secure than any other Operating system that Microsoft has release till now.

But many forget to consider the point of hardware whihc they are going to use in day to day life really support Windows 7.

Only the scanner driver has been release by epson for your printer for windows 7. So there's no work out as they haven't even release drivers for windows vista too.

And you won't find the driver on net as nobody will write the driver program for any printer without the blue print of the printer hardware.
