I have just aquired a emachines computer and im wanting to connect it to a wireless router but its not allowing me to do this.

If you are using an eepc with a linux operating system you will need a wireless driver, go to the eepc support on another computer and download driver, alternatively get a copy of puppy linux, load onto usb and run directly from usb, it may have the driver inbuilt into puppy, a third prob is having to turn the wireless key on but as its a desk comp this wont happen, does the computer have wireless capability.

I have a wd used on a mac and would like to use it on a eepc as well, but it is not working...I can't open it on the eepc

The disk-drive might be formatted for usage _only_ with Mac OS X.
Copy all the files from it to your Mac's disk-drive.
Move the Passport to any PC, and "format" the disk for use by Windows.
Move the Passport to your Mac, and copy all the "saved" files back onto the Passport.
Move the Passport to your EEPC, and you should be able to use it, and to see the filenames that you copied from your Mac.

My Eepc Asus Laptop Keyboard is automatically typing letter A how can i solve this problem

Just pop the A key off with a butter knife or something flat. clean the rubber boot with warm water and replace. if that don't work, you need to get a new one. Some don't have the rubber boot. in that case you can use a que-tip with rubbing alcohol to clean under the key.

Eepc linux 4G surf, wireless adapter won't work

You cant buy compatable wireless adapters for this netbook as yet.You might be able to configure another type of modem on an ad-hoc basis.
Your adapter is most probably for another type of pc/netbook
Consult manufacturers manual for list of compatable devices

while its booting press F8 then choose safe booting, this should give you access to administrator acount, and the use the "run" utility, and type control userpasswords2

Webcam driver

Some times BIOS disable webcam after updating it.

To enable it do the followings:

1. Restart your Eee PC.
2. Press F2 while booting (to enter BIOS sittings)
3. Go to "advanced" tab (by pressing right arrow)
4. Select "Onboard Device Configuration" (by pressing down arrow)
5. From there you can find if "Onboard Camera" is enabled or not.
6. If not, just press enter to pick "Enabled"

I hope that would help :-)
