A few months ago I posted about my car hesitating when starting or moving
along and hitting the gas. The new sparkplug wires seemed to help a little
for a few days but then it went back to it's sad self.
Recently, I had my 2002 Leganza serviced for the recall (cam sensor). The
check engine light is now off but the car still hesitates.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Frank

Same problem here. I changed plugs, it ran fine for a week, then started the same hesitation again.

Hi all
I believe by hesitation you mean the engine stalls before REVing up. Well, I was examining the problem on one of my friend's car, I realized that the spark sockets were fortified with metal tubes, and that the spark from the solenoid was arching under the insulation to the metal fortification of the spark sockets. Especially when the engine is missing beats. So, I removed all metal tube fortification with spring action of the spark sockets. Result a lot better.
