Open Windows Live Movie Maker or the video editing software of your choosing.

Add a picture to your film reel by clicking the "Add Photos and Video" option.

Browse for a picture on your computer that is relevant to the song you are uploading.

For instance, if uploading one of your band's songs, it would be a good idea to use a photo of your band performing.

Click on the "Add Music" tab on the task bar.

Browse for the song that you intend to upload and import it. Select the "Fit to Music" option to ensure that your video will run for the duration of the audio file that you chose.

Choose the bitrate that you feel is needed for the file, and export the video as a .wmv (Windows Media Video) file using your program's built-in encoder.

Keep in mind that the higher the quality of a file is, the longer it will take to upload to YouTube's servers.

Open your web browser and navigate to YouTube. From the home page, click on the "Upload Video" link. In the pop-up window, browse to the video that you have just created and upload it.

The uploading process will begin automatically.

Are you sure the music is the correct format that the player can recognize?

Well first of all, all music purchased from iTunes is in mp4 format, not mp3. You will have to convert you music to mp3 format for it to work. The retail version of nero, works well for that. Another option is to burn your music to cd, then reimport it into your music library, from the cd, as mp3. You'll have to change some setting though if you go that route.

Hmmm... I have only had my Z3 a week but I have already uploaded several CD-Rs which I burned on a Macbook using iTunes. It uploaded the music no problem, but I had to manually type in the artist info (obviously).

you have to create a new folder with the EXACT original name for it to upload. the name should be "MUSIC" if i remember correctly.

have you try converting the videos to .3gp

Put all your music in one folder and let Windows Media player synchronise your music with the player. Any time you want to add songs, put them into the same folder and Windows Media Player will add them to your MP3 player when you next connect.
