It is brand new and when I start the air conditioner very cold air comes out and within two minutes the air isn't cold anymore.

You have to try resetting the system. First turn the breaker off for the condenser and wait about 20 seconds. After you turn it back on the system should reset. For assistance check us out at Tamarac Ac Company!

Freezer is working properly but fridge doesn't seem to be. Light not coming on and food not cold enough, though not there seems to be some cooling

check that the damper door between the refrige and freezer is operating with the refrige adjust control, sometimes they ice up in a position and cant let cold air in to the refrige, deice it with a hair dryer and then adjust that control and watch if it moves open or closed

I OWN A VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT, JUST BOUGHT IT NOW THE HEAT BOLWS OUT COLD AIR WHAT SHOULD i CHECK OR DO

Check operation of the heater coolant on/off control valve and operating mechanism.
Check thermostat is installed and working OK - replace if in doubt.
Check if coolant heater supply hoses are warm/hot when coolant valve on.
If hoses are cold (no coolant flow evident) check coolant system is properly filled (bleed system as necessary to remove possible air locks).
If still no coolant flow check heater system for blockage.
If all above ok, check heater unit air control vanes operation.

This car has the automatic temperature control system

The hot/cold switch is probably bad.you have a blend door box that opens to let the cold air in and closes to let the hot air in.From what you are saying this part is no responding to the switch movement.Make sure power is at the switch and power should go through the switch when put on cold air this moves the blend door. Some times the blend door goes bad and has to be replaced its under the dash on the right side.

Temperature gage has fluctuates between 100 and 260, the water is full and fan seems to be working ok, and all belts seems to be ok.

You need to verify that the gage is accurate, if it is then the cause is the thermostat, but check the gage first, a repair shop can do this or you can feel the air coming off the radiator fan, if it is really hot changing to cool rapidly then the T-Stat is sticking open.

Manual heating system with automatic trans. 7.3 L Diesel, 45k miles

it may be your thermostat, the gauge on the dash is a dummy gauge, there is only three positions that it sees, dead cold, operating temp, and hot, so even though the needle looks fine it just means it s closer to operating temp then it is to cold,

Indest Fridge Freezer

Possibly something was spilled and it got to the door gasket. Clean the door gasket area with warm soapy water. In the door there is nothing critical to the system operation that should cause the condition you have.

Freezer/fridge won't get cold enough

Madezmom, you have a defrost issue. If your model starts with 106 you more than likley have a bad defrost bi-metal, I will attach a picture of bad one. This sits on the evaporator in the freezer section behind the panel. You will have to remove the shelves and remove the back panel. Defrost the evaporator completely. The part number for the bi-metal is 2196155. See if yours is bulged like the one in the attached photo. If so, that's your problem..Catriver..post back.
