You can uncheck the remember me button so anybody that will login will not be the default email address or you can reset your IE
If you are using IE7 or Ie8
close any window then click start > control panel > internet options > close teh control panel window and leave the internet properties window open > advance tab > click the reset
after the reset click ok or apply
reopen the internet explorer and do not forget to uncheck teh remember me checkbox.
hope this help

How can i get my daughter's facebook password when she lives in a different city and has bought a new computer

Ask your daughter.

If she's forgotten her password, tell her to click the "Forgot your password?" link just below the password box on the Facebook sign-in page.

I have a facebook account, my daughter setup a facebook account, also on my computer, now I can't login to mine.

Having 2 or more Facebook accounts set up on Facebook from the same computer should not cause a problem as each facebook account uses a different e-mail address... if you click on "account" (top right) in your daughters facebook page, there should be a "log out" link in that and it will take you to the facebook login page, where you should be able to log in with your details to your account

If you still cannot log into your account, click on the link that says "i forgot my password" and they will send you the password if you have forgotten it.

My granddaughter used my computer to view her facebook page and now when I go onto facebook her page comes up instead of mine. How do I fix this problem? My name is Judith...

The only problem is that her facebook account is saved in your system. Try deleting the saved cookies or delete the temporary files from the system. It will surely help.

A friend was over today and was on my computer and check her facebook, now I cant get back to mine. How do I change from her facebook page to mine?

If you wish the log out of the Facebook account of the person who last used your computer, kindly click the "Account" tab at the top-right of the Facebook page and select "Logout" from the drop-down menu. (See attached image)

Then login to your account by entering your id and password.

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa.

My daughter is bad mouthing me on her facebook and i want to close it she's a minor

Hi mom!

there are 2 ways to close or deactivated the account of your daughter in the facebook. here's how...

1. If you know the user id and password of your daughter ... log in at facebook. On the upper right corner of the facebook page...Click account settings..
Under My Account at the lower portion of the page you will see Deactivate Account.... press deactivate..
You will be asked again, just click Deactivate Account.. for confirmation a verification code will put in the box and ask for your password to completely deactivate that account..

2. The second way is to report that account to the facebook.... Log in to facebook using your account..
On your homepage. double click the name of your daughter to enter on her wall. Once inside her Wall... Find the "Report Page" button located at the left side portion of the page under photos and videos..Click it.
A small window will come out..State your reason (example: racist, hate speech) and then submit... you will also be asked to paste messages from that person containing bad mouthing words and attach it on your report.

That's it.. hope this help you mom..
Much appreciated if you rate this help. thanks

My daughter came to visit and signed into facebook and it blocked me out and can`t get mine to come up . how can i get mine to come upand still let her bring up her`s with my computer. thanks hammer

if i understand your problem, the solution would ordinarily be to find where it says "account" on the upper right-hand side of the page. there should be an downward-pointing arrow to the right of this word. click on it. a list will appear, and at the bottom should be a "logout" option. if you click that, it will sign you out of your daughter's account, and you will have the option to log back into your own.

your daughter probably selected a checkbox while logging in that keeps you logged into the account for a while (i.e. it remembers your username and password for, say, a month - but just on that computer). you can either choose not to select this box and ask your daughter to do the same - and then type in your email/password every time you want to access facebook, rather than just once. or you can leave this checkbox and stay logged in, and just hit logout before the next person needs to use the computer.
