Rm2652 barely is cool to the touch in the freezer and hardly nothing in fridge on electric and does nothing with LP gas...... Why?

If you can hear the coils "circulating" you have a leak in your cooling unit. If you can hear a boiling like sound from the cooling unit it is a tell tail sign that the unit is bad and needs replaced. If you take a look through the access vent on the rear of the fridge you will more then likely see the yellowish residue located around the burner area. This is the common spot for these models to leak. The unit can be easily replaced within just a hour or two with no specialized tools or previous knowledge required. I will attache a copy of our RM2652 installation instructions to view, Please contact Arcticold for your New replacement cooling unit with a Lifetime warranty. 1-888-782-6665 Our Online Store

Sorry for the inconvenience you have had. The compressor and coils etc are 5 year warranty. This still leaves labor, but I know most shops pick up the labor for one year. I know it is still a headache, but hopefully you have some coverage from your contractor. The unit is a newer style...not the quality of Carrier...but is still a fairly new product. Sounds like you may have to put a bit of pressure on the installer for satisfaction.

Maytag Model RSW24EOD. Not cooling. Frost on freezer back wall

Low on freon or there may be accumulation of dust and dirt on the coils of the condensor. To check to see if the coils are dirty you need to remove the bottom panel of the fridge just below the frige door. Once you pop off this panel take a flashlight and look under the unit. You will see what looks like a radiator with a fan and fan motor in front of it. If these coils are blocked the unit will not cool since this is where the heat goes from the fridge to be dispersed. Clean the coils with a coil brush (purchased at any hardware store) and use a wet/dry vacuum to remove the debris. Once these coils are cleaned it will take about 12 hours for the unit to operate properly.
If the coils are clean already then you possibly have a compressor that is low on freon. I would check the coils first since most of the time this is the cause of the problem.

Good luck on your repair hope this helped you some

My ac blows cooled air but my heater does not get hot

the heater coil has possibly burnt out. This coil is located behing the evaporator coil in the window a/c. To access the coil you need to pull out the unit from the casing. The coil looks like a toaster coil and is possibly in a metal box. Several screws hold the coil in place. If you are doing the repair yourself you will need to remove the coil take the model and serial number with you to an appliance parts house for replacement. Removal of the coil like i said before isn't hard however, you need to make sure all of the electrical wiring you diconnedct has been marked to insure you are placing the correct wires back in the correct location on your new heater coil. Good Luck on your repairs hope this helped you some

Refrigerator portion is not cooling

My side by side fridge was doing the same thing. I replaced the thermister and defrost heater. Check to see if you are having an excess of ice building up in your freezer. If you do, your defrost heater (simple little fix needs to be replaced). It looks like a mini flourecent light bulb, except has a spring-like coil that runs through it. This is what heats up coils in your freezer to prevent all the frost build up. If too much frost builds up on the coils, no air can pass over the coils which blows into your fridge portion of your unit. Depending on the type of fridge you have you may have 1, 2 or three different thermisters. These look like little probes, and they act like your thermostat in your home. (It tells the fridge when it needs to run)
Hope this helps!
